What do you mean, reload?
I picked up the humanities he drops but the guy killed me before I picked up the ring.
Yes.
Yes.
brb
You can get a second FaP ring if you trade the Xanthous Crown with snuggly as well.
I got it, phew. Now to do some Forest Farming.
here is my Burg PvP experience
get parried or backstabbed by a chaos zwei
get deadangled by a tracer
ded
they taunt
edit: holy shit these tracers hit me from a mile away
the only way these fags can win is by using the lockon backstab trick
I don't get why so many people use the tracer. I was pvping in Oolacile Township awhile back and a few dudes invaded me one after another using it (dried finger). I had the DWG ring on and a p. high blood resist so it was pretty ineffective on me + their swings were pretty slow so I would just flip away from them. I managed to kill all three of them with a parry and kicking them off the ledge and doing the point down emote. All three of them sent me messages saying "lol noskill", "u suck", and I believe the third guy was from the aspergers and autism fanclub that is the dark souls thread on /vg/ because his message read ">parrying and kicking off ledge >do point down emote you're gay as fuck."
I think I found the gargoyles, but I don't know if I'm equipped well enough to take them on.
I have the default Pyromancer armor on, a Morningstar, and a Wooden shield.

Make sure you've talked to Solaire before going, he can help you with the fight.

I spoke to him, how do I get him to help me?
Do I have to be human?

Yea.
His summon sign will be right outside the door.
Also, whats a good armor set for a BK Halberd centered build?

also lautrec
he's locked in a room across in the same building as the gargoyles across from the fog gate
Oh shit, that second gargoyle kind of wrecked me and Solaire.
Take 2, then.

If you kill the first in the first couple seconds when the second gargoyle comes, all it will do is breath fire and then not do anything special.
Suggested strategies for taking down Black Dragon Kalameet at SL 40? I can't remember my stats specifically, but I don't think I've got anything above 30. What gear and stuff do you suggest I use?
Also, I was told the Silver pendant would be useful, but it hasn't really helped me.

Are you doing a challenge run or something?
If not, you want to fight him at SL 60-80, he's arguably the hardest boss in the game.
Oh wow, I was fighting a guy, we hit each other almost at the same time, I barely survive, he dies and it says I did one damage. I check my stats and it said I had 6 health. I was using the butcher knife, so hitting him healed me for 5 hp, so for a split second we both had exactly one health. Pretty crazy.

I'm trying to keep myself around the same level as a friend of mine so that I can sabotage him in a Team Rocket-esque manner while he is online. I took down Artorias at the same level, and I'm pretty much at Manus. Will I still be able to fight everything properly if I take down Manus now?

Lol kalameet at level 40
Good luck, you'll need it
Silver pendant does stuff against dark magic not what kalameet does. Having a high magic resist or a shield that resists it helps against his fire attacks but they will still do some damage (as it also does phys damage)
You pretty much just have to be good at dodging and maybe good poise as well. Having a fully upgraded shield with excellent shiled poise (or whatever its called) is pretty much essential as some of his attacks must be blocked and you'll want as much stam as possible
Make sure you have plenty of estus (15/20 reccomended). It's a fight of endurance, he doesn't give many openings for attack so you just have to get a couple of hits in and worry about dodging. I was SL80 when I fought him and he was hard, took several tries before I managed to last long enough to chip his health down. AFAIk he's got no real weaknesses, just gotta get your hits in and go on the defensive when he starts attacking.
Avoid locking on during the fight as several of his attacks will make your camera go crazy, and likely kill you (the one where he goes into the air for example) Only lock on at the exact moment you are moving in for an attack

Artorias isn't particularly hard. And yes, everything will still be fine.
Manus is a total bitch if you aren't good at dodging. But Kalameet...
He's on a different level.
Also keep in mind kalameet is totally optional, so you don't have to beat him unless you want to get full completion on the DLC

Alternatively just do what this guy does:

Well I did get Gough to shoot Kalameet down, don't wanna disappoint the big guy, now do we.

Top of the page? Well, I might as well add that I'm carrying +7 or so Elite Knight gear, I have the Crest shield and a +5 Black Knight Sword. Think that'll do me some good?
AAAAAAAAAAAA how do you slide down ladders?
You'll want to fully upgrade the crest shield so its as stable as possible. Also being able to fast roll helps but you def don't want to be doing fat rolls
AAAAAAAAAAAA how do you slide down ladders?
Press the run button, remember to not move while pressing it.

Alright. Since I'll need some Twinkling Titanite, I'll probably go wipe the floor with Shaq and just farm the place near him.

Oh, where are my manners. Many thanks for your help.
Anyone wanna do some PvP in the Township? I'm SL120 on the exbex.
Tell me your GT so I don't summon the wrong invader :T
I didn't even know you could slide down ladders until my fourth character
SL1 Seathe is a massive bitch, the curse attacks are just the worst. Any tips?
Don't get hit.

If you keep him turning, he won't stop to do the AOE. All you have to do is keep as close to one of his side tentacles as possible without going around it, because then he'll do the stomp attack. You can sort of stun lock him by just keeping him moving, all he'll do is the crystal breath thing.
Beat O&S solo on my first try and took no damage.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa
And if you're on PS3 you hope you already had a mule/a friend who has a mule. :v:
or you can delete the game data so there is no patches then do all the glitches you want (i do that since ive beaten this game around 17 times with no cheating[up to NG+++ 2 lvl1 games then mixes of stats] )
