oh my god I canNOT do this Is there anyone around SL49 that can help em out with Sen's Fortress? I seriously don't know why this is so difficult for me right now, I did it on my main character with only maybe one or two deaths, but seriously I keep dying and I just died again and the pressure is killing me. I don't want to lose my stuff, and it's so far in now I'm afraid I won't be able to make it. I can't find any summon signs at all. Well, I COULDN'T, because GFWL decided to commit suicide which a lot of you guys have been talking about. Any agreed upon way to fix that as well? Just restart the game or..? Part of my problem is probably my armor... I'm still mostly in the default stuff, except for a Gargoyle Helm. I know that's sort of stupid but I can't seem to find anything much better this time around, at least that won't encumber me. Not to mention the ones shooting lightning everywhere. Well thanks anyway. I guess I'll just have to focus and be careful.

I could just pop all my souls and level up to help you.

you don't need to fight a single snake inside sen's fortress, just run past them all or upgrade your shit like you're supposed to

Yeah they will deaggro pretty fast, like the small elevator after the mimic? The snakemen following either die or give up. Even if you don't have the DEX to use the bow, you can still do enough damage to aggro them. As for the lightning ones, it's actually magic damage despite what you'd think. So equip a magic resist shield and you're good to go. Seriously, just go one at a time. You'll be fine. Alternatively, face it like a man. Advice for Sen's Fortress: You need to be very mindful of traps. Pressure Plates on the ground are around, some blades are grouped together so you can't hide in the gap between them. Snakes are really easy. I'd recommend having a +10 Weapon if possible, and take a look around for loot. You may find a new weapon that'll help you greatly. Learn distinguishing features of the traps. Is that wall, floor, ceiling, chest, pit, etc different somehow? Oh, and learning each section helps. For example, sniping the mage snake at the start (He's up a floor) is always handy. I'll leave the rest to you. P.S: If you find the Eagle Shield, I found it great for Sen's. It's got no parry but it can deflect attacks to give you a gap to attack. Or perhaps you could use the traps to your advantage...?

Well, Falcon helped me through, so that's over with. Although I managed to get killed by the first two snakes at the beginning when trying to summon him and lost my stuff i am so [b]GOOD[/b] at this game Honest to god though on my first run through I did manage it alone and it didn't take all too long. Although, I had heavier armor and, well, a Black Knight Sword.

Alright so like, I can only do 50 damage against Artorias, and I can't beat him because no matter how much I roll, I can only occasionally get 1 hit in, and it does [B]minimal damage[/B]. How the fuck do I do damage that will actually get me anywhere.

is your weapon fully upgraded? he's wearing armor, so have you tried doing strike or thrust damage?

Is your weapon elemental? The bosses in the DLC have very high defense against split damage.

If anyone is on the Xcocks, I'm running Taurus until I get Demon Greataxe. If anyone wants to help me out, I'd appreciate it.

The only thing that does any damage at all is my zingwhei thingy +15, and with a strong two-hand attack it only does 300 damage. No elements on it either.

300 is a considerable chunk of his health so go with that

Don't expect to do a whole lot of damage to artorias in general, 100-150 was fine for me. It's just a matter of patience, and not letting him power up. he's a pain in the ass if he does.
