Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced

When I encounter someone with the Drake Sword and is fat-rolling with the Silver Knight armour, I'm not sure what to do.
Should I help them, get them through anyway and hope they learn rather than giving up, or would it be better to black crystal out and force them to learn rather than cheese it with op summons. Will they learn if I help or will they just do the same again, and is the chance that they give up worth it?
Got indicted for the first time on my Sunbro. Decided I'd try invading since no one would summon me. I outlasted the guy cause I had humanity, 2 divine blessings, replenishment, heal, and sanctus shield to keep my health up. I had a upgraded halberd so I was able to keep him at a distance. Lightning Spears and Emit Force had him on his feet the entire time. He eventually wasted all his estus flasks and humanity and decided to jump off so I'd go away. Then indicted me :v:
Miracles all the way.
The very guy that indicted me ended up summoning me for help with Ornstein and Smough. Needless to say we beat the shit out of them.

Halberd is my favorite weapon, mainly to poke and prod people from a distance.
That, and I've killed countless people with the helicopter swing that is the two-handed heavy attack.
Anyone at the Kiln below level 74 wanna help me fight Gwyn? I know he's an easy fight but Jolly Cooperation is always better.
I stopped invading Anor Londo because I kept getting this Havels person with a lightning halberd. Normally this isn't a problem, but the lag, oh my god. He'd stab on the completely wrong side of the screen and it would still hit me. :I

Why does everyone say he's easy I'm getting my fucking shit wrecked
[sp]and the majority of the game was fairly easy for me[/sp]
oh
i got past the anal rodeo archers in 1 shot
ran up, parried, set his ass aflame when he stood back up
it seems like everything i'm dreading is super easy and everything i think will be easy is destroying me

parry parry parry parry
Gwyns parry openings are fucking ludicrous, abuse this
I killed Sif with my crossbow. Does this make me a bad person?
Sidenote: I also killed [sp]Hollow Solaire[/sp] with my crossbow, does this make me a bad person too?
Something about the crossbow just makes me feel like a big game hunter who is looking for the next trophy.

Goddamnit I'm horrible at parrying I just poke people with my halberd from far away. But alas if that's what must be done it shall be done.
Also how do I get this dude to quit doing his grab attack? It kills me in one hit every time.

Was Solaire supposed to be hard? Because I was expecting to die alot but I just poked him twice and he dropped my first try. Was it because I was using a divine weapon or what?

Just roll backwards when you notice that he's gonna do it.

Dragon Crest shield blocks most of his damage, Solaire distracts him so you can heal and get easy shots, I tried black flame but he was to aggressive for me to land a hit, but I did give him a taste of his own medicine with charcoal pine resin. He went down, I spent a minute figuring out what I wanted to do, then left and became the Dark Lord, the one who would guide the dark and avoid the madness previous attempts created.
I think in NG+ I'll skip the Taurus Demon. New Londo > Valley of the Drakes > Darkroot Basin > Darkroot Garden > Undead Parish. I can do that, right?

You can also take the shortcut to Darkroot Basin in the room with Havel.
I love when someone starts casting CMW or pursuers or something and I cast great magic barrier.
It's such an amazing feeling. :v:
I think I'm going to make a female cleric. For shits and giggles.

I... I don't understand.
So I've been counter hacking hackers.
I keep running into people with inf HP and all this shit, but theres one thing you can't do, you can't live after being cursed.
Even with inf health hacks, you can still be cursed and die.
So I changed all of my attacks to inflict curse with 100%.
I invade world after world, specifically looking for hackers, and then I curse them and kill them.
I'm also 100% invisable, with inf health and stamina and I'm level 1 yay.
Oh and if I invade a non-hacker, I suicide and they get free souls.
The PC community sucks.
The PC community sucks.
maybe that's because you are actively searching for hackers, smarty pants
It's probably because, you know, you're level one. Outside of the Burg and the very few SL1 playthroughs, you're only going to invade hackers.
I've invaded like... three hackers. Only one of them actually tried to kill me.
So I just got the Artorias of the Abyss DLC. Should I go through that with my NG+ character, or my brand new character?
Also, how the fuck do I access it?
Edit: NG+ character is a melee machine, and the new one is miracles/sorcery based.

Kill the Hydra in Darkroot, save Dusk, kill the new crystal golem near the Duke's bonfire, and return to the area where you saved Dusk with the Broken Pendant that the golem dropped.
Any tips on low level character vs 4 kings? I'm using a +5 Electirc Estoc, lightweight armor and such.
they're weak against fire I think

I just took the cheap route and threw on Havel's Armor and used Iron Flesh. Sure, you'll barely be able to move, but you you'll also be able to withstand significantly more damage.
Are there anyway of dodging their blue homing magic thing? One hit from that half of my health is gone.
I'm gonna try havel's set tho.
Edit:
Unfortunately, 'significantly less damage' for me is still about 40% of my health in one hit.

I didn't like that technique because if you're all slow from iron flesh and can't close the gap between you and the first king, he'll blast you with his strong magic attacks

Darkwraiths invade infinitely upwards. SL1 means he can invade anyone whatever level. That's why most hackers stay at SL1.
I think it's pretty smart really. You aren't giving them many souls if you suicide, but justice like that is a lovely thing. The Darkmoons are supposed to be the ones administering justice, but where hackers roam only hackers will bring order.
Really wish there was a way of sorting out the hackers it really ruins the experience, it feels odd progressing as a low sl With the intention of darkwraithing knowing other people got there with no effort

why is this so funny
I love it when hackers are creative with what they can do, instead of just down right killing you.
