so why wouldn't you just turn on your anti-hacker hacks when they invade and then turn it off when they die instead of being a dickhole and hacking too

tbh hunting other hackers isn't being a dickhole. That's just my opinion though

There are no innocents. That's why we need heros like Strikelol who only encounter "hackers" for HOURS at a time.

How do I get a wired xbox controller to work? It says a controller is plugged in for the home menu, but it won't let me use it in game.

You can change yourself to be hollow/human/white phantom/gold phantom/red phantom/ghosty phantom. Not sure if you could hit/be hit as a ghost though...

[img]http://puu.sh/1ty5x[/img] here's that guy I was talking to, so help me if you're this guy. basically I was telling him invasions aren't supposed to be fair; it's the counter for summoning and you can't complain I used humanity to heal because of "PROPER PVP AND NOBODY WANTS TO PLAY WITH A HEALER" (protip: 99% of people invading or I invade heal), then goes on to try to say that 'pvp is supposed to be fair'. PvP is in the game for me to kick your skull in as I see fit, and there's consequences for that as well (i.e. indictment, dorkmoon blades, etc). Not to be 'fair and balanced.' But what gets me is how he says he's one who wants to play fair and balanced then says "Now I have another guy to help me, please invade me". Because that's fair, you hypocritical shit.

Anywhere else would basically be free-game unless you come across someone nice.

I'll agree it's harder to deal with more than one person, but the invader should know that the phantom can usually be ignored and that the host is the key to victory. Also, ignore what that guy says. He doesn't understand the game, so next time you see him just crunch a humanity in his face.

I'm forcibly going into your world to kill you; I will not follow 'rules of PVP', I will heal, I will kill you. Phantoms can't be ignored.. they can still damage you, you know. Obviously he doesn't know what he's doing, just to piss with him I'll chug divine blessings (for him and only him)

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE IN THIS GAME JUST MILDLY ANNOYING OR INCREDIBLY FRUSTRATING

So, I got another person to get Dark Souls yesterday. Me and a friend made new characters for when he finished downloading the game. I made a sorcerer for ranged support, which I've never done. I got him to Blighttown before the friend who was said he was going to bed. Since I wanted to stay in the same "summoning level zone" as him, I didn't go past SL13. Today, I got back on my character and got to Anor Londo (with a whopping 8 VIT) just to hear that he can't log in to GFWL. He says that his "unPn can't connect" or something similar. What's strange is that he can't sign into the GFWL client (not the one that pops up when he launches Dark Souls, the client itself), but I can. Does anybody know what to do?

Anyone who is playing on PC here. What level are you pvp'ing in Oolacile? (I see Saza's already). Maybe we could set up an event of some sort. Or maybe we could go to Peaceful land of kind inhabitants and put our signs there. Since it's impossible to invade/summon if you haven't killed Manus.

Someone needs to find a way to summon multiple people at once, instead of just two phantoms. That would make for a great day.
