that makes this guy SL230.
why
why
Because the higher your level, the more pro you are obviously.
Level 230 and he's still using the Drake sword.
Jesus christ how horrifying.
Man, invading a dude with 2 phantoms is annoying, but managing to kill 1 or both phantoms before I die feels amazing.
Earlier today I invaded a guy who had 2 phantoms with him in the Burg. Was getting slapped around until we ended up in that tunnel where the black knight normally is. 3 guys all cramped up together in that tight hallway running after me, I realized what needed to be done.
Great Chaos Fireball. Insta-killed both phantoms, host survived the initial impact but was killed trying to run out of the temporary lava.
Felt goodman.
Drake Sword
Above level 30
brb I need to go to the hospital from the heart attack I just had
Colour me newbie but why would you not use the Drake sword after SL30? Is it to do with the breaking mechanic or does it just get outclassed by other weapons?
I've never used it personally, as the claymore's seen me through just about everything.
Nice. Generally when things get hairy I kite them a bit, pick a phantom and start swinging like crazy. In one fight I stunlocked one phantom and stunlocked the host on my backswing. Phantom died, host would have died too if he hadn't rolled away and healed.

Drake Sword has no scaling and gets outclassed damagewise by everything after capra.
So I just invaded a guy in Anor Londo who was using Drake Sword, Gargoyle Helm, and tried to hit me with Great Combustion through a Balder Shield. Pretty bad, right? It gets better. I killed him, and...

According to this, that makes this guy SL230.
That thing is staggeringly inaccurate. You get souls mostly based off of how many souls they are carrying, not their level.

I've always heard it's 10 percent of the souls they need to level up. Which is backed up by the fact that I nearly always get ~1600 souls from people I kill (I'm SL52, 16K souls to level).

Dickwraith is level, Gravelord is 1/2 souls.
Wow, gravelording is pretty lucrative then. Too bad it's so dead PVPwise.
Oh I didn't know this was a calculator for how many souls you get when invading as a darkwraith.
But I'm still not so sure. There must be a lot of guys running around at level 300+ then.

how original and adventurous

That kill was the only one that netted me more than 10K souls. SL99s give me roughly 6K, SL50s give me roughly 1600.

Go be an asshole somewhere else.

not even sl1 darkwraith blindfolded no shield not meeting requirement for moonlight greatsword no estus no bonfire
-415/10 scrub tier video.

But seriously dude, your last few posts here have made you come across as a massive douchenozzle.
Oh I didn't know this was a calculator for how many souls you get when invading as a darkwraith.
Wait no it isn't. This calculator doesn't even make sense. I put in that I got 30k souls and it tells me my invader is level 199 and I'm level 99. You can't invade DOWN 100 level unless you're being invaded by a Darkmoon and you have 100 indictments. Is that what this calculator is for, for only calculating the level of a Darkmoon invading you? (I'm asking rhetorically)

You're misreading the calc. The first stat is if you got the souls as an invader, the second is if you got the souls as a host. It doesn't calculate your SL.

I agree with xpod1 though. Anyone who has mild experience can solo o/s. Nothing special.

Ah, that makes more sense.
Well I guess I could just be wrong about all this, I won't claim to have looked very deeply into things. I guess there must be tons of level 300+ people running around.
Also soloing them with a bow is even easier.
Edit:
damn eastern spooks
Haha, just killed a guy as he was running for O&S's fog gate. Pulled him literally out of the fog with a backstab, then killed him when he tried to run back to Solaire. Indicted, but I definitely deserved it.

There's a scary thought.
When most of them get that way because of cheats, they're probably incompetent and no levelling will fix that.
Yeah, Dickwraithing really teaches you that skill>gear>stats.

Speaking of Dickwraiths, my next video series is going to be all about beating the game at SL1 and being a Dickwraith. It'll be a playthrough with a heavy focus on acting as a guide for players who want to try an SL1 character but are maybe daunted by how hard they think it will be.

When you're done, level up a bit and be an NPC Dickwraith. One of those showed up when I was in the Parish on a new character, and it was one of the most fun invasions I ever hosted.

What this guy said, I love NPC dickwraith stuff. I'd do more if I had time to edit videos, but I just like to play.
