Guys it's a random drop but it also always drops from the last mimic. Jeeze.

Haha, what the hell? ^ When I was 12 I finished games for *free* and was happy about it. Now they're getting paid to finish a game that's 1,000x better than any atari or commodore game that we played through and thanked the lucky stars for it?

Or maybe one of those rare crystal lizards spawned here? Nope. I took a step forward, got stuck behind that pile of bricks and couldn't escape for nearly 10 minutes as I was forced to spaz out in the corner.

I have a level 6 knight with upgraded armour and weapons that I made to give people in the Undead Burg a taste of how scary being invaded can be. I expected to invade tons of new players who would poop themselves whenever they saw me. That wasn't the case, at all. Over the course of the last hour, I invaded three people. The first disconnected as soon as I started running to get him. The second was a pyromancer who ran onto the bridge and, ironically, died from fire. The last was the most common, being the invadee for 18/20 invasions. He was a Gravelord Servant with a katana, a grass crest shield, and dingy robes with a thief hood. How hard could he be? Be fore you answer, the correct choice is very. I'm still unsure if it was the fact that I was only using a Broadsword +5, or if his robes were at +15, but I did about 31 damage per hit on the guy. Needless to say, I got wrecked every time I fought him. I did have some laughs though. This one time, before I got down to the area he was waiting in, a spirit of vengeance invaded. What followed after was entertaining. Imagine a scaly dragonoid, a knight, and some dingy thief striking at the others with shields as weapons. Of course, the fun didn't last long, and we went back to stabbing and cutting at each other. I was getting bored of invading this guy , and after invading him the 18th time, I promptly ran to the nearest ledge and plunged down into the surface below, resulting in death. I then closed Dark Souls, because fuck that shit.

So I'm curious as to exactly what remaining hollow does. Can you just not get invaded or summon friends? Is being hollow like "single-player"? (And gross looking?)

(And gross looking?)[/QUOTE] you also can't kindle bonfires while hollow, and there's certain opportunities to summon Solaire or other NPCs to help you with boss fights that only work if you're human. There's also parts where you can be invaded by hostile NPCs that can drop rare weapons or armour if you defeat them.
