Power within doesn't really have a place in PVP.
nonononono nop.
The term is "Situational", using it is not going to fuck you up, but it gives you an advantage if you press it, and good enough players can.

If you're not going to take anyone's word for it then go test it yourself
Wikis been wrong before. Both have.

Whips are terrible, besides that, every other weapon is viable.

Barbed Whip and the Guardian Tale stack bleed/poison through blocks. Whip offhand can be a lot of fun!
What's an easy and fun build if I mainly play for PvE? Obviously it has to be somewhat ok in PvP so I don't die every time I'm invaded.
The only thing that will cause less health to drain with Power Within is the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring.
I believe without the ring, Power Within will consume 101 units of health, while the Lingering Dragoncrest Ring will only consume 91 units of health. It's not much more, but it's still less.
Sanctus helps a little. Very little if you have much health, but can also completely negate it if you have little health.
sanctus is okay, 2hp/2sec isn't that amazing though
sanctus + smough's hammer pls
i have finally clocked 30 hours into dark souls
on accident
I fell asleep with dark souls on for 12 hours
broke 100 hours the other day for PC
have a bunch more on PS3 though
I've currently played 166 hours on PC. Probably doubled that on Xbox.
175 hours here. What am I doing with my life
[editline]4th December 2012[/editline]
And that's pretty much all in the last 2 months

328 hours here..
I think i'll go play some more now. start that SL1 run I've been meaning to do.
Only 68 hours. I need to play more.
I just realized in my 138 hours of dark souls I've never used a katana.
I should get on that.
422 hours.

And that boys and girls, is why you always summon a Sunbro.
I'm gonna make a build with no shield and just using the two-handed block on either the Zwei or the Greatsword. Trying to figure out if it would be better to go Miracles or Sorcery for buffs and that kind of thing. Great Magic Weapon would probably give better damage than Darkmoon Blade or Sunlight Blade and 30 Faith is a lot, but I can't think of anything else I'd use in Sorcery.
So is there seriously NO WAY to use my save file that I have right here, and load it up in the game and play on the character in it?
Man, Artorias is even worse than Gwyn when it comes to tenacity. He's used my butthole as his sheath for the past 10 tries or so.

Just attack his tail. He'll go down without even hitting you.

Only summon one if you're having trouble doing it solo. It is easier to just run behind him and hit him a few times and when he jumps up just clear the area and repeat. Don't summon though unless you are really having a hard time. It raises the boss' health a ton.

Where was that calculator that would tell you the other person's level based on the souls you got? Google only gives me the character builder.
[editline]5th December 2012[/editline]
Wait, nevermind. I found it.
I thought there was supposed to be two Sanctuary Guardians in NG+?
I only fought one.
