it's two if you go back to the area after you kill it the first time

I haven't killed the gaping dragon yet but are there any repurcussions for killing those guys that teach you miracles the two fat guys and the lady I had to kill them all because I killed the blonde fatguy earlier

If you're not going for a faith build, you shouldn't worry about it.

...I lost count of how many hours i've spent on Dark Souls. All i know is, it's a hell of a lot.
every night before i pass in to the land of deep sleep, i tuck in my copy of dark souls besides me, place my lips upon the "requires internet connection to play" and play the escape from new york theme
Never change DCTB
We can agree on one thing, I'm sure of it; Whips are terrible, besides that, every other weapon is viable.
The whip is pretty cool in PvE, though it sucks against many bosses.

So is the only difference between 1.06 and 1.07 the DLC area flickering fix?
So is the only difference between 1.06 and 1.07 the DLC area flickering fix?
Wow that's sad
I was hoping they'd add a feature where dark magic users self-destruct when they cast pursuers.
I was hoping they'd add a feature where dark magic users self-destruct when they cast pursuers.
I was hoping they'd fix up the port so we wouldn't need, you know, DSfix Not that it's a bad thing but still
I've given up on them ever making DS into a proper port, and DSfix works fine. I'm surprised they let such glaring balance issues continue to exist though.
They're too busy making the next souls game fully PC supported right? :3
I was invaded while AFK in Anor Londo, with Solaire. The invadee ran around me for what the "players met" screen tells me for 5 minutes, punching me in the back every now and again. When I got back, I shrugged, he dropped me some large titanite shards and left. These people are so rare.
I just hope the next souls game won't take almost a year to get to PC!
I just hope the next souls game won't take almost a year to get to PC!
The success of this PC version leads me to think that they'll delay the PC release, but add a bunch of new content. A lot of people bought DS twice.

The next Souls game... might be on PC at release? I'd like to think that their experience with porting Dark Souls will make the next PC version better.

I'm getting my ass kicked in pvp, what are "good" armour sets/combos to be using? I've been using crimson since I got it and I'm at the end at the DLC.
Rumor is 1.07 is on the horizon.
1.07 is already out in Japan, as far as I can tell it's just a hotfix for a graphical bug in Oolacile.
What's a good amount of poise to have? For a high faith character, do you guys think an Occult Uchigatana would be good, or should I just go for all out power and go Raw?

I hate trying to get the black knight halberd early on. Have to create a new character every time if it doesn't drop.
