Hell, maybe it'll be somewhere else than Lordran, could be in Carim for all we know! ... But they did mention that you are Undead, and Lordran is the land of the undead. So this might imply that the "bad end" is the canonical ending, and that the game is taking place in the age of dark. (he mentioned something about no light as well) Who knows at this stage.

Eh, given how many secrets, shortcuts, traps and other dickery that nobody will ever know about until they play through the game 2-3 times there will be, I don't think any pre-launch info is going to spoil anything. Ornstein's set and the Lord's Blade set both come to mind, as do a few Yes/No queries which I absolutely did not want to fuck up.

Hell, I didn't play DaS until the PC version came out and I still kept myself from even watching footage of the Ornstein and Smough fight.
