you summed up my deep hatred for this new cheat engine stuff
when i used to get invaded by somebody with much better gear than i in the burg, i was able to (due to PS3 version) go along, as i knew they'd spent a whole load of time goping through the game to do this
now it's just "oh, another twink who spent 5 minutes achieving what is supposed to be achieved after so many hours"
thankfully pretty much every twink i've ran in to has been terrible, though. if there's one advantage over them i get from playing the game instead of using cheat engine, it's experience.

Cheat Engine basically is BB on roids, twinking is everywhere and the chances are if you're ever invaded by somebody with gear most people don't have at that stage, they're twinks. It has ruined the unique experience which is low level PvP.

and hey, at least with bb glitching you had to actually get the items to glitch. with CE, you have every item available to you from the get go, in whatever quantity you want. which wouldn't be a problem with weapons and armor really, but magic?

That's more a problem with leldarkmagic than cheating, though. If someone CE'd 30 casts of Crystal Soul spear or CHSM it wouldn't really matter.

it's the whole no effort at all everything available. it's also pretty shit when you run in to somebody, get that fleeting idea that they'd worked for what they've got, then you end up wiping the floor with them because they're one of those people who are just terrible, and don't get much better because they run in to PvP with their nice shining gear and get destroyed over and over
then they get a new idea, CE new gear and do a different build. rinse and repeat until they end up MoTC WoTG with a chaos zweihander

Regarding a dexterity wanderer/thief build, is it worth it? Like, does being speedy quick with weapons that attack faster trump being tanky and hard hitting?

If you're good with parrying and backstabbing, you can wipe the floor.

I really doubt anyone's CEing builds without ever clearing the game at least once. Especially since it's MUCH easier to give yourself 99 of something you already have than turn one item into another.
Besides, how would people even know what kind of build they want to CE unless they played the game first?

You should be fine as long as you have AA off in-game.
During university classes I started drawing my own universe very reminiscent to Dark Souls, I had some great character designs and my favorite character wore the same mask as those guys in the trailer, they look nearly the same in terms of outfit.

Just noticed this, sorry for the hour wait. AA can cause problems, though I'm not sure crashes would be one of them.
It hasn't even been a day since I've seen the trailer and I'm still hyped as fuck.
