You know what I want most in Dark Souls 2? Longbow animations.
You know what I want most in Dark Souls 2? Longbow animations.
You know what I want most in Dark Souls 2? A PC Port with good optimization and controls that comes out the same day as Xbox and PS3.
Does anyone have the chaos zweihander giant dad video?
Just had a sudden thought as I lay trying to sleep. What if the PC of DS2 is Oscar? You go the the painted world and meet that woman, who trailer hints at being Velka. It's strongly implied in DS that Velka was in the Painted World, and the sunset in the trailer implies that the time period may not be too far from the time of DS and shows a bridge very reminiscent of the one in PW. You then let Velka out, and she sends you to the Undead Asylum for whatever reason, be it to get help from other undead or release the undead who are being treated like shit, and in the course of that you release the DS PC and get whacked through the roof and die. Then Velka helps the single undead you helped escape via sending that crow since you wind up hollow.

I swear if that woman in the trailer is Velka, I am going to be so fucking hyped. The plot to destroy the gods? That's one hell of a story.
@ Joe & dogmachines -- I sorted it, but AA was indeed the problem so thank you regardless.
FUCK! I was in Sen's Fortress when some guy invaded me. I spot the guy, but I noticed he didn't see me, so I hide away and force him to search for me. I silently follow him and find a nice ambush position. He sends me a message. "I have no idea where you are!" I know where you are, I'm the hunter now. He eventually walks past and BAM! Backstab. He runs off but I managed to knock him onto a lower plaform, the only way he can go requires him to run underneath me, drop attack right in his head. Then I notice, the fucker has barely lost any health. I backstab him again and now he has 3/4s of his health left. What? Then he lag stabbed me, or more accurately I backstabbed him but he managed to wail on me while I was in the middle of the animation. Fuck lag. Dark Souls 2 needs to sort this out.

So, I just started PVPing with Butcher Knife + Hornet Ring. My god, my ripostes are TERRIFYING. That last, slow CHOP in the animation is just incredibly brutal. I love it.
I only recently discovered that the hornet ring changed the animations, I've only ever seen them in youtube videos and I assumed they were only on consoles for some reason
I originally thought the masked people were the occult, but it would make more sense if they were Lord's Blades since they're fighting against the undead. [editline]9th December 2012[/editline] Then again, you fight against Pinwheel in Dark Souls. Hmm.

also Ciaran's armor headpiece is called the Porcelain Mask
It's also entirely possible that they're mutated undead like the crow people in Ariamis.
Yeah but that doesn't really tell us who they are, even if they are mutated undead.
Oh my god why didn't I buy the weapon reinforcement smith box before getting to Anor Londo.

Hoping this is on sale at in the Steam Winter Sale for a reasonable price.
You can always go back, the jaunt through Sen's is pretty fast once you've cleared it.
The shortcut skips 90% of it.
The shortcut skips 90% of it.
Ssshh
You can always go back, the jaunt through Sen's is pretty fast once you've cleared it.
There's no way back, I'm at the [sp]Solaire[/sp] bonfire
There's no way back, I'm at the [sp]Solaire[/sp] bonfire
Jump the staircase and run out
Playing as the first born would be pretty great. [sp]I bet we wouldn't know if you were Solaire or not.[/sp]
There's no way back, I'm at the [sp]Solaire[/sp] bonfire
Open the front door.
Open the front door.
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR
I wish you could, it would make Dickwraithing that much more rewarding.
