I don't see why people use the lifehunt scythe
I mean it's cool and all if you want bleed buildup on yourself I'll just hit you once with my Uchigatana and laugh at how you caused your own doom.
i know you're talking about pvp, but i feel inclined to point out that the lifehunt scythe rocks all kind of ass in pve.

well that's because most of the time your enemy can't really do it back to you and are stupidly easy to dodge if they can
I'll stick with my weapons that don't make bleed buildup happen on me, too.
-snip-
It's not like "you hit me once, I hit you once and you take bleed damage"
more like "Oh, you've been hitting me? How about a surprise blood loss on you?"
Its a lot less bleed on yourself than an average hit.
Also you are always a negative nancy.
The plot to destroy the gods? That's one hell of a story.
I tell you what, play God of War. If you own a ps2.

can someone just permanantly replace your posts with "LRN22PLAI SCRUB CASUALS"
seriously all you ever do is go "Yeah, I guess you could do that. If you're not smart like I am."
Is there anyone who plays on PS3 around SL 68 that'd be willing to give me a hand with Kalameet?
Dude's kickin' my ass.
Oh hey, whats up?
Silver knight's leggings are really going well to Artorias set. 9/10
Black knights actually.
Black knight legs, Black Knight gloves, Artorias chest and Gold Hemmed hat.
Still good. Only one bad thing is that Artorias' chest is really bad even fully upgraded on big levels.
I use Knight chest and Silver knight leggings for 31 poise. That said Silver knight leggings go great with Ciaran's top.
I've never seen the practicality of using the LH scythe, sure the bleed is great but the risks outweigh the reward. That said you can ignore bleed loss if you time a roll right. To add on that the Lifehunt (And great scythe for that matter) have very predictable movesets, anyone fast rolling with a spear will absolutely wreck a LH build.
[sp] regardless I can see how fun it can be and don't let anything I say deter you from making a fun build. If we didn't have fun builds we'd all be stuck using chaoshander giantdad builds [/sp]
So, I'm planning on getting Dark Souls tomorrow because of a friend of mine that was streaming it.
Love the enemies, weapons, armour, and I just overall love how the game looks.
I like from what I've seen that it punishes you if you're not alert and on your toes.
But.. I get pretty nasty when I start to rage, what would I be getting myself into rage-wise if I were to play this game?

Beware the Sens. A magical place of bitterness and hate.

It really isn't that bad unless you're prone to make the same mistakes over and over. At most you'll usually die just a few times at certain parts. When I played, if I died against a boss I always got him the next time (aside from Artorias).

I'll try to keep that in mind, I can get very stubborn about doing something a certain.
Here's hoping, I guess.

You need to prepare yourself for a game that doesn't want you to succeed or even play it.
Just give up any preconceptions you have of frustration and try not to let even the mountainous challenges and losses get to you.
Or you could be like a friend of mine and break two PS3 controllers by tossing them at walls.
So a couple of weeks ago I decided I was gonna finish both Demon's and Dark Souls, as I'd never actually cleared either. (Despite clocking in a lot of hours on them.)
Finished Demon's, blah blah, took a bit of a break. Pressed on with Dark Souls.
The day I finished it, a friend linked me something on Youtube.
The announcement trailer for Dark Souls II.
[sp]They fucking knew.[/sp]
lol bleed when you've got a fuckton of endurance.
aka truck build.
what do I do with these giant bowmen in anor londo
my shield pushes me off the cliff
roll forward instead of blocking the arrows or else you'll never make progress
what do I do with these giant bowmen in anor londo

Honestly I just went up there naked with my shield up.
When I got close enough (Which was super easy due to having basically no equip load) they just smacked me in my shield and fell off.
Oh man I just killed 3 of the normal black knights at level 18
I'm so fucking pumped right now.
Fuck luck, I got stairs and gravity on my sideeee
the claw is cool
it's a piece of shit though
doesn't justify it
You're not playing pvp right if you care about stats over looks

I find too much fun in dressing up in full Hollow gear and shambling towards people.
has anybody tried a hollow warrior build doing nothing but throwing firebombs at people? that would be hilarious
Thank you for an idea for my next character.
