Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced

Shit, There goes my first Ironman attempt. I treated it as a Ironman but i didnt set any rules like no invading or summoning. Which i did both. So... I'll call this Ironman Attempt Zero or something and try again when i set down some rules.
Gravity is going to be my greatest enemy when it comes to trying not to die, isn't it?
I wasn't saying the HP or Soul values.
Just the weakness / resistances
[editline]14th November 2012[/editline]
The other wiki agrees on weakness / resistances.
"Smough is weak to Lightning in the first form, but gains slight resistance once he transforms, but also shares Ornstein's vulnerability to fire"

Being overly cautious might be your downfall. If you're going for an Ironman run, you'll probably try to be super careful about what you do, and in the end might mess you up.

To be honest, i was being pretty careless at many occasions and nearly died a few times. I died mainly due to there being the second Craigspider moving in the way, tried to avoid him and ended up slipping off.
I was expecting to die to the Capra Demon if anything.
Half way through Dukes, where do I pick up the chanellers armour?
lol I'm REALLY half tempted to make a muscle wizard.
is it worth it? I mean how effective is it in pvp?
Well, you look amazing, smash stuff for 600-800+ but die really quickly. The idea is to dodge and strike, float like a butterfly and sting like a bee. Not to mention you have no poise, so if you don't dodge and get your hits in you can easily be stun locked. If that doesn't work just dark bead their asses. With 50+ int, it'll hurt.

After you move the bookcase and just before you pull a lever to lower some stairs. It's in the room with the Mimic, pretty close the bonfire.
So, during my run of forest invasions I invaded a giantmom using a havel shield that spammed dark bead and WoG and Well, What Is It?'d after every kill.
I think I got killed by the biggest faggot in Dark Souls.

Also is it me or is Seath pretty easy?
Just lost 55 humanity and 320k souls. :suicide: I think I'm done for today.

I lost 52 humanity and over 800K today. Gravity doesn't like me too much (also I'm retarded for thinking it would be fun to run on the little walkways above the Pained World entrance.)
I lost 99 humanity and 45 million souls.
No big deal though, just my PvP char.
Okay, so this is my first playthrough, and I feel like I may have done something wrong. I made it through the painted world, now I have to finish Anor Londo. However, I just keep getting my ass kicked. here's my build:

I know the armor oculd be better, but I really like the mobility. Any suggestions?
Get a better weapon and upgrade it. Scimitar is ok early on but I'd go for a greatsword if you wanna do strength or one of the katanas if you're going dexterity.
First time PvP'ing and so far I have murdered two Darkmoons and a Darkwraith who attempted to invade me in Anor Londo. The Darkwraith tried to use a cute little soul arrow on me so I threw a giant chaos fireball on him. Needless to say, he died almost instantly (Most wouldn't survive +10 Pyro flames).
I never got invicted in Dark Souls until yesterday, now there is a constant spawn of phantoms that seek vengeance. Luckily I killed most of them but I cannot continue properly, I never knew that if someone reports you that the consequences would be so severe.
Anyway, Oswald is dead. I guess I have to live with it.

They're not really even consequences.
I enjoy getting invaded by Dorkmoon Blades. They're such easy kills.
A shame I never do get invaded by them even though I have a fair amount of indictments.
Well, I collected tons of souls that way. I usually wait at the spawn and try to kill them immediately, no honourable fights. Only cold steel and death, those fucks should not come into my world to kill me.

That's the fun part. Not only can you be indicted by ANYONE you invade, you're automatically put on the sinners list for killing NPCs, even ones that go hostile on you (the three stooges at firelink, for example). So basically EVERYONE ends up on the list.
On the plus side, most Darkmoons aren't very good. They automatically have an advantage because the game designs their invasions so they're the higher level. Not only that, they can invade while hollow. Which you'd think would mean they win a bunch. But they pretty much never do.

Fifth build I've made in the past like, two hours.
I have chronic build ADD. Can't pick one. :v:

i have like seventy of them saved and ready to use
[editline]15th November 2012[/editline]
i wonder if i should eventually use black flame instead of great combustion
My character doesn't look like he enjoys flying too much.

I made a new character today too. Her name is Teek Teek, she's a bandit and she don't take shit from NOBODY.

I checked that black flame does a little less damage than great combustion with fully upgraded pyro glove. Though description of black flame says that it's great for breaking guards.

Lifehunter Scythe is pretty OP, but you can kill yourself with it fairly easy. You might have enough STR for the black knight sword, if you can get your hands on it.

LS is good at like past 60 levels. Because you'll have decent amout of bleed resistance. And then you could use it as primary weapon, get some hits on people and switch to gold tracer or something else that won't cause any bleed for you. (MAKE THEM BLEED!)

Figured. It does stamina damage, which is great for pvp but not good for pve. oh well.
On the plus side, all my souls can go into weapon upgrades and pyromancies. It'll SUCK until Sens, although if I can snag a drake sword it would be nice, although i don't know if i can use it at sl1. hm. Guess I'll stick with the club.
I'm considering doing my SL1 run with something useless like the tiny being's ring. No master key will be difficult.

Until the second bell is rung, then you can just buy the master key off of Domnhall for 5,000 souls.
I wouldn't make a SL1 character. At least SL10-15 for burg and 15-20 for parish. Because on SL1 you'll be invading only upwards. So you could hit some NG+ players and all that.
SL1 characters aren't for PVP though. SL1 characters are to try to beat the game at the lowest level possible.
The invader you got in The Depths was an NPC, Darkwraith Kirk.
Something weird going on here about Kirk. Lore says that he is not a darkwraith but a chaos servant. He invades people to help Fair Lady. He stole red eye orb from kaathe and using it while being chaos servant? Well I guess you can't argue with lore, because you can't use red eye orb while being in any other covenant.
