Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition(360,PS3,PC)v3 - Dark Magic is perfectly balanced - Games

anor londo is my favorite area i want more like, castle areas in dark souls 2 my favorite areas in DS are probably the undead burg/parish, and anor londo, because they're like castle/fortress-y i dunno i like the vibe they give off i want more like, light areas with knight people to fight the dark scary areas stress me out and i just rush through them as quick as possible

It seems the best parts of the game are in the light: Undead Parish/Burg Anor Londo Duke's Archives Painted World (Oolacile forest) and the shittiest areas are in the dark: Tomb of Giants Blighttown Depths Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith New Londo Sen's Funhouse That being said the most atmospheric areas are in the dark: darkroot forest and ash lake

I never had any problems with Sen's Fortress. The fortress is easy enough to get through and I've inly been invaded there twice.

I thought sens was one of the best places. The few snakemen you have to fight are piss easy and the top of the fortress is fun as hell.

I feel like the earlier areas of the game have more personality, the paths to bosses are just as fun as the boss fights themselves. Later areas don't have that feeling for me, they just feel like mandatory monster filled areas I have to trek through to progress the story. For example, the Catacombs feels like an awesome labyrinth of undead and traps, then I reach tomb of the giants and it's like "fuck I want to get to Nito already."

I'm +2 with the Darkwraiths, if I leave them and later join them again will I still have the same rank? Also will I lose the items if I leave them?

Can we talk about how much of a bro Solaire is? I summon him and without a word he's killing the fuck out of a gargoyle. That boss fight lasted, literally, thirty seconds. Last time I ask for boss fight advice here, but anybody got any tips for the Capra demon?

You can kill the dogs easily while you're up there and then it's easy enough to just dodge the capra's attacks.

Also will I lose the items if I leave them?[/QUOTE] Leaving and rejoining the covenant will halve your rank (total number of humanity offered), and you don't lose any items but only Darkwraiths can use the Red Eye Orb (cracked orbs still work).

Does anyone else get little fps drops now and then? Also has anyone disabled the 30fps cap? I read that you might get banned from GFWL for it, so..

My first character was a pure sorcerer and I pretty much just stopped playing once I got to Sen's, I could barely get past the first two rooms. Then when I got it for PC my new character was okay at melee, and I breezed through it.

Or be a [B]MAN[/B] and parry him. Or throw the black firebombs you [I]should[/I] have found at him. That's what I usually do when I'm not feeling particularity manly.

Black knight is intimidating as fuck when you first find him, just the way he drags his sword across the ground and takes huge swings at you

Though if you're midrolling I highly recommend to use great magic barrier.
