Just it feels less awkward when you use a controller - but for me the awkwardness of the controls didn't stay for long.

Comparing the two side by side is hardly skewed, especially considering I can't stand using a gamepad for most games. Glorious keyboard and mouse for life... except for Dark Souls. Gamepads are just a clearly superior tool for Dark Souls, there's simply no comparison. It's so blatant I'm not sure how to even point it out, it's like trying to point out why a knife is better for cutting an apple than a spoon. It just gets the job done better.

What I'm saying and we've had the argument before, is that there's nothing a controller can do that a keyboard cant. Nothing, at all. What you're not understand is that I'm saying the controller is easier to get used to, but if you play with a keyboard for awhile its the same. Its as if 300 hours of mouse and keyboard gameplay and pvp aren't enough to satisfy that for you.

The ability to fine-tune player motion and aim without adjusting the camera and being able to do so independant from the camera is huge.

I was so damn proud when I won my first PVP battle against someone named Maneater Mildred Today I found out that everything I knew, was a lie.

Keyboard takes a bit to get used to, and you pretty much need a mouse fix because the shit is horrible. Gamepad is plug in, and play, easy to get used to. HOWEVER they're both a fucking option. Stop whining about something so pointless. Who cares what suits someone else better when all that matters is what suits you better.

I played with keyboard for the first 70 of my 150 hours, and now that I've had 60 with the Gamepad I can easily say that I could easily go back to the keyboard and have no problems. It's easier to turn the camera while running if you set up your controls with keyboard. You can aim your movement more precisely with a gamepad(which is more of a curse than a gift sometimes). Dark Souls is a game about doing well with what you have(among other things), and that goes for weapons and armor just as well as controls.

I never understood the KB&M only mentality, surely the advantage PC has is that it can use EVERY input. No one would say KB&M is just as good as a flight stick for a flying game, or a fight stick for a fighting game, why say it's just as good for a game that was designed around the limitations of a controller?
