It's not bad graphics, but it could be a lot better if it was designed for a PC and scaled down on the console, but whatever. It's about the gameplay, as long as they don't port it like GTA 4 it'll be fine! (By that I mean fuck us PC users up with a 2 fps limit on the best PC.

I'm looking forward to AvP3 since I loved the AvP2. It was a great game and fun to play! Kind of a slow start, but once you got over that it caught me and got me to play it and enjoy it.

I'd say the stupid AI has to deal with the fact that the whole game is in early stages of devolpment.

Aye, remember in the original Predator movie, where the guy sees the Predator and yells "CONTAAAACT"
In our Finnish version, it was translated as "KERSAAANTTIII" which means 'sergeant'.
Guess what I'm gonna yell when I'm playing with my mates and I see a Predator :v:
Considering the 360 has a 3.2ghz tri-core cpu and the ps3 has some cell thing with 8? cores, the AI is not the consoles fault.
Looks awesome, though the predator uncloaking after everymine or melee attack looks rather annoying :/

Using the wristblades doesn't uncloak you but it might be the only one that doesn't. They're apparently putting greater emphasis on pred melee combat, which is fine by me since it's the pred's #1 weapon. I don't know if the plasmacaster uncloaks you though, the only time he used it was against the aliens and he wasn't cloaked to start with.
After I beat it, i'm going to go through the predator campaign with nothing but my cloaking and wristblades (unless I need to)

I have no idea what you said.
What I meant is - the more advanced the AI, the more demanding the game will be on the CPU, apparantly someone thinks that the CPU's in consoles are too shitty to keep up with advanced AI.
A lot of PC's are ahead of consoles in hardware, but [B]there are still a lot of them which aren't.[/B] Developers still have to think of the people with crappier computers.

Yes the AI is "calculated" (surely the wrong word though) by the CPU, so yes the CPU [B]could[/B] limit the AI. But we are nowhere near having such an advanced AI that CPUs will start to be insufficient. You could run on a old P4 and the AI wouldn't affect it (well it would, but in a really small and unnoticable way).
AI requires really little from the CPU, since it's not really an "intelligence", it's more like a bunch of predefined actions to predefined situation (although it oftenly is more complex, at the roots it's like that).

I said the AI would be dumber because console AI usually moves slower since you can't aim as easy.

Well i think in GTA 4 they really perfected the ai it was good even with slow aiming.
But aiming in consoles is slower.
Which is good. Sometimes :/
If I'm playing an immersive game on PC, me spinning around in under half a second, shooting someone and spinning back again can ruin the immersion :/

you can up the sensitivity a bit. doesn't help much, but it helps nonetheless.

That's not true.
Where'd you get that from? I, for one, can aim more easily with a console controller than with a mouse. Why would you make something slower when its already easier?

Oh the aiming is slower. Yes, it is. Still, I doubt its going to see that much of a tone-down just because the console aiming moves a little slower.

What is there to calculate in a fucking racing game, the AI is almost non-existant, basic car physics and such
they load everything on the graphics
just look at games that look average and lag on the 360, I'm looking at most titles using the UE3-4 engines

You think that the calculations in a video game character's ai are more complicated than those used to simulate an entire car? Spring rates, shock absorber dampening, roll bar action, tire deformation, wind resistance, tire contact area, friction factors, heat buildup, performance degradation due to heat buildup, heat dissipation, power delivery, drivetrain losses, and that's just touching the surface. And all of these calculations are done at hundreds of times a second. Forza hardly uses "basic car physics", and it's one of the most cpu intense games on the 360.

It's still far from as heavy as something like ArmA [B][U]1[/U][/B] or Supreme Commander. Also notice how RFG has already hit the limit of the 360, the devs themselves said that one more vehicle and that thing fries.
