If they have focused on multiplayer, there shouldn't be a sniper rifle in sight, and there will be a way for Aliens to hide effectively, because the shine on those Aliens is crazy.
FYI guys
There can't be a reflection on an Alien if no light reflects from it. In other words, no reflection in dark.

in that aliens vid, the alien tail whiped the light, taking out the light.
I got screwed out of limited edition by gamestop. They wouldn't allow in-store pickup of the Hunter edition, and they didn't even have the "Survivor" edition on the site. Oh well.
that alien gameplay footage was pissing me off with the same animation for the harvest option.

I'm seriously considering buying a whole new pc (or updating my current one) just to play this game maxxed out :v:.
Shit's gonna be awesome.

So there is going to be a demo, it's probably going to be pre-release. I read somewhere that it's going to be out before the end of January.
Wait, that article only mentions the PS3 and Xbox360. No demo for PC :saddowns:?
Looks like the Marines will be tossed around quite a bit. Finally some tactics and teamwork will be required to thrive in a map.
I will get this for PS3, my comp may run it but my bro enjoyed AvP 2 and his comp isn't as good as mine so we can just play it on PS3 together :D
Getting this on PC, provided I have it before February. Come on come on come on!
Well this game was designed for the PC primarily, so i can't see why we wont be getting a demo.

Thats fucking sus, why the hell would America of all places get no CE for PC?
AVP on the Marine campaign is still one of the most scariest games I've ever played.
this will be awsome im gonna play as the predator and scare the shit out of anybody i face.
cant wait for this.
i remember the good old days of avp2 when the master server was still up, 16 player survivor on dm_quarantine was fucking epic, especially when everyone held out the basement. It was and still is the only game that actually made me feel tense and i was actually scared of getting face hugged.

Exactly this, everyone would rush to that basement ASAP, right after spawning.
Then we'd all just hold that spot until they eventually got in amongst us, then we'd scatter and hide amongst the map, or have running battles with groups of aliens.
Those were the days. *massive nostalgia*
I remember how disappointed I'd feel when i got killed before getting to the basement, taking part in that big last stand was the best.
I'm tempted to get the old AvP on steam, as it's only £2.99, but it says on it's steam page " however, it does not currently support multi-player." Does this mean it might be added in the future, because I've heard thats the best bit of the game

steam is the magic world of wonders you just got to believe in yourself...YOU JUST GOTTA BELIEEVEEE!!!!
I'm pretty sure the servers don't exist anymore. That's what I heard but I'm probably wrong.

Unless MPlayer comes back no.
It might still work with Gamespy, if Gamespy isn't dead either.

You can still play online with a third party patch

The problem with it was that it was too predictable, On my first play through my friend was sitting next to me watching me play, and I described to him almost exactly what was going to happen before it even happened.
