I see they took out the strange pounce for aliens that completely mutilated people when you hit someone.

Say if you wanted to reach the ceiling, you could pounce up to it and crawl. Not sure how they'd justify it not mauling someone if you hit them with it though.

Tenner says this wins "Movie tie-in of the year" awards. Despite it not being a movie tie-in. I think the Demo should be a 10 Min excerpt from the Marine and Aliens levels. Predators will play a bit like a mix of the two. (Big guns + Mobility) So let us try Marine and Alien. Save the pure awesomeness of Predators for the full game.

I saw a gameplay video that I think was from E3 or some other kind of gaming expo earlier in the thread. Basically I think it was you aim at a wall and pounce at it and it just jumps to it. You don't have to spend all the time thinking about the angle and speed so you can jump around much more fluidly.

I don't really get it either. It's used in Aliens and I guess they want it to be authentic. Needs to be remastered in my opinion.

I think they should only include the first levels of each species in the demo. it gives a satisfactory introduction to using each species, and we get teases of the plot, as well. also, add in some multiplayer in the demo and we've got an insta-download.

I think a multiplayer demo by itself would be fine, either multiplayer or singleplayer. I'd love both but I need to be somewhat realistic :(

I hope they do what they did last time, a single player demo for marines and a multiplayer demo with a basic but fun map.

Very Greedy. Not saying I wouldn't like it, but It's alot for a free demo.

Demo should just be a really basic multiplayer map, with no limitations. All three species should be playable.

Like only the Pulse Rifle for the Marines, the Claws and Disk/Plasma Caster for Predators, and Aliens could only use a few basic kill moves.

I'd rather do single player first than go into multiplayer with no clue how to use the Alien or Predator's abilities.

yeah, it has already been mentioned in multiple videos that there is survival mode, where 4 marines (maybe predators as well?) controlled by humans take on an infinite swarm of computer controlled aliens. Looks fuuuuuuun :D ninjas

SEGA has always said that Colonial Marines will return if AVP sells well, which seems to be more and more likely each day.

Touche, I have been beaten. I applaud you sir Xenomoose. Also, from what I understood Colonial Marines was not infinite waves of aliens. It was more about completing objectives (like L4D) whilst staying alive and killing aliens. I understood that it'd be like Left 4 Dead with futuristic weapons, no regular zombies, all specials are hunters that cling to walls and hide in vents, and you get the oh-so-epic motion tracker.
