The stealth kills for the Aliens are a bit loud.

Well, it's not easy to make people not make sounds when they are being killed
I know this from experience

The alien screams, the people really were too distracted to make much noise.
The aliens sound like cougars haha
4. Infestation - A squad of Marines vs one Alien, Each Marine that gets killed by the Alien, becomes an Alien.
5. Co op Survival - Up to four Marines vs endless waves of increasingly tougher Aliens
6. Hunt - A squad of Marines vs one Predator, the Marine that kills the Predator becomes the Predator.
7. Predator hunt - A group of Predators vs one Alien, The Predator that kills the Alien becomes the Alien
These are 4 reasons people have to buy this game.
Some juicy info, mainly about Multiplayer.
That list has totally convinced me to pre-order this. It seems as if the developers have hit the nail on the head with what people want from this game. I can't wait.
ok, if this demo doesn't come out soon i'm just gonna have to preorder and hope I can run it!
I think if I do preorder i'll get it from play.com, you get the preorder skins and it only costs £17.99, which is quite a bit better than the steam £24.99 and some craptastic RTS I wont touch

So happy I can run this.
all this needs is dm_quarintine and dm_leadworks and then i can jizz
Damn my being 17 :argh: Play isn't letting me get it. i think I might just have to get it on Steam in that case, Amazon has it but there's no benefit for pre-ordering it...:frown:
just use paypal
General reaction: :woop:
Though I would like some subclasses.... And a queen + exosuit wouldn't be bad.

It doesn't accept Paypal? I'm not seeing any option for it.

What this man said, for the love of God, Exosuits and an Alien Queen.
No doubt the queen will be in singleplayer somewhere.
From that video, I think only Experiment 6 growls and roars like a wild cat, because from the multiplayer vids I've seen, the aliens had normal sounds.
Happy to know Grid is a skin. What a badass.
I wonder if i should get my money back from global agenda and buy this instead.
yes you should

Yeah
Aside from having to push a button to enter fucking vents, absolutely awful voice work, magically appearing facehuggers for the harvest option, a weak looking tail whip attack(can you no longer charge your attack?), and a nigh invincible alien it looks pretty fun.
All the sound was shitty and muffled in that video. Please proceed to shut your face hole.
The game was probably set to easy because demo players like that have a history of sucking shit.
Man, I am pissed. I went to pre-order the Hunter addition on the Xbox but Gamestop for some reason isn't getting the Xbox one. So I had to go with the PS3 one :(
I hope the demo(IF it comes out this week or whenever) is a multiplayer demo. I wouldn't mind a singleplayer demo(or both) either.
AvP2 had 3 demos:
Marine demo
Alien,Predator, AND marine demo
Multiplayer demo
I just want to be able to play the three classes(particularly alien) to see how they handle and then I'll pre-order it.
I really hope I have the balls to get through the campaign for Marine in this one...
Let me state my question again: Isn't the Praetorian a little too large to be going into small spaces? His head is wider than his body.

I would think that all of the alternate aliens are models of the same general size. Some of the aliens interact with the world differently, which could mean strange things for balance.

Runners move faster, and Praetorians are large and slower than even a Predalien. How could they balance all of that out with just one master race?
What is this talk about runners and praetorians? As far as I know there's no class system beyond alien-predator-marine.

I'm talking game balance. Having all those different models with different behaviors would be a chore to get balanced. I'm willing to assume they are all generally the same size so that they behave in a uniform manner.

Basically only minor differences, mainly just skins, not too bad.

That's basically my complaint. The Praetorians are elite Aliens that can't crawl on walls, and are larger than the average Alien. Runners are the fastest Aliens, and are weaker than Drones. How they can keep that inside of one side is beyond me, but hopefully they will find some way to balance it out.
