Alien Vs Predator 3 (Preview trailer released, half a second of gameplay!!!) - Games

So after watching a Predator vs Alien battle on the 360 version, I noticed that you can do a free crawl on the map. But I wonder still if there is free crawling in corridors like before. The video seems to show that you can only be on the floor, ceiling, or walls and have to transition to get on another surface. I remember being able to do spirals in corridors and dodge marines. Also I really hope I can still hop into vents from the ground with the pounce button like I used to be able to. Quickest way to avoid enemies was to pounce into vents.

Ooh, thanks. Makes wall-running a lot better than previous gameplay videos have implied. Makes combat look more fun too, before I'd only really seen the one-hit-kill attacks which look boring. Also all these gameplay videos, especially that one for some reason, remind me why I don't play Xbox haha.

Praetorians ARE large, and they are too heavy to crawl on walls, which is why they stay in the Queen's hive until the Queen dies, and then they fight each other to molt into a queen. Runners are fast fuckers with shit health, but can still do some damage.

The game testers are shit stupid as always and can't show off the game. Also, You can be killed by a 3rd party when using a kill move.

That's what's probably going to be annoying about kill moves. Unless there is some kind of very special incentive to use them, people will avoid them(and their inherit badassery) because they will just get them killed because of how long they take.

But it's just so awesome ripping someone's head off.

All of this talk really has me pumped for the game. I've been playing Classic on steam, and it's so much fun I really hope this one is as fun as it looks.

Can you imagine the terror? You're low on health, separated from your teammates, and BAM! Trophy kill'd.

The retail game relies on steam, correct? So I can have a physical disk as well as the digital version? Just wondering.
