It's non-autotracking, semi automatic, has a small, fixed clip size, and is hard to hit things with because of how narrow the shots are. Besides wristblades, it's the most balanced weapon in the game. It's practicaly a staple of the franchise. I guess they're doing the whole "keeping it movie canon" thing by removing the speargun. Atleast, I don't recall a predator ever using a speargun in the movies. (not counting the shitty AvP movies, I've got those blocked out from my memory)

Can't wait for making crack dashes around Marines as the Alien/Predator. One of the only advantages against the Scoped Rifle is your speed.

I was always a light predator just using that. I remember once there was a praetorian pouncing at me, I right clicked (That launched like 3 spears) and killed it when it was 3 inches away. :v:

In the beginning of the movie after a pred attack, someone (I think it was Danny Glover's character) removes a two-pronged "spear" from a wall. It kind of resembled a sharpened tuning fork. They analyze it in what I recall looked like a microwave and determine that it's not made from any earthly materials. I don't think they ever actually showed what the spear was launched from, but the games assumed it was a gun and went with it.

In the first Predator when the black guy crouch's underneath the log and the 3 lazer's go above his forehead. thats the speargun.
