So yes it's an insta-kill but i think it works... And sometimes, is very fun :P

Can someone upload a video showing some gameplay footage? I really want to see what's happening :S edit: Just saw Goldenbullets post. It seems a bit more fair now, looks like it's just the current game mode that makes it overpowered.

Haha, nice. Just got 21 kills with Marine to like 5 or so deaths, awesome. Have to lead targets though as the game feels like I'm on a server with 100ms ping or something. I like this!!

PS3 demo is fantastic. It doesn't have the class of say MW2. (Yes, I know. And the shooting isn't as good. As most FPS' even) But it's a good game. PC gamers are pampered, Spoilt for choice in the FPS market and too quick to condemn something when it tries something new. TL;DR Game is ok. Go back to Team Fortress 2 and let us AVP fans have the thread to ourselves. (Also, No trouble finding a game on PS3.)

Just so you all know... The full game will have dedicated servers and server lists on pc. So this matchmaking crap wont be a problem.

Humans only have a light attack, but I know I'd be pissed if every time I turned a corner, a Predator is waiting with an unblockable attack.

I run the game on max and it runs perfect. I agree the search for game takes forever. And I enjoy the game, pretty mush. And the reason you get E attack all the time is that you are to uncareful. You have to check around you all the time. Every corner, wall, roof, everywhere. That's how I got ride with E problem. Sorry for mine bad english :(

can't find servers. great. V explain ?

I had to turn down my settings massively to play with a decent framerate, but once I got going, it was pretty cool. I love the atmosphere, mix of lighting schemes and whatnot is pretty awesome, but I don't like PC controls for this type of a game. I'm going to download the 360 demo today, as it will most likely be better. I understand that they pasted "demo" on what is actually a "pre-release beta", so I'm going to put my confidence on the final build.

Yeah, the game runs smooth for me and alt tabs instantly with no problems. I'm impressed so far. Will be good to see how it runs in Dx10.

Searching for games... Ugh... How long in general you have to wait until it finds one?

some people don't seem to realize that if you want to stop getting E-Button Instakilled, you gotta watch your back, all the damn time. you turn around? turn again to your previous direction. someone might have decided to take run at you while you were turned the first time. nobody there? you're safe for the next few seconds. keep an eye on every detail, every area. if you're a predator, go through vision modes every few seconds. a marine or an alien might be somewhere you can't see unaided. the people who hate the demo are usually the people who don't follow those guidelines above. I'm not really good at following said guidelines and I get killed a lot. fortunately, I'm the kind of guy who enjoys that sort of thing because just having the chance to be an alien or predator in a new game is exciting. it won't be good for ranked matches in the final game, but once I get the hang of things, I may hopefully improve. my main beef was that I didn't have the ability to train myself in SP a bit so I could get a hang of how each race controlled. if I was able to do that, I wouldn't have such a horrid kill/death ratio. ... *looks at post above*... but I digress.

Man I love playing as the Alien. Just won the match, going 30-5 with an 8 kill-streak. Can't wait for the full game.
