Alien Vs Predator 3 (Preview trailer released, half a second of gameplay!!!) - Games

just finished both Avp2 and Avp2:PH alien Campaign :D Im just for the alien bishes.

I'll play predators first, then marines, then aliens. Because I like them most :haw:

I'll play whichever starts first in the campaigns chronologically, then second, then third. Just like how I do it with AVP2 and Primal Hunt.

I'm going to pretty much play Predators exclusively for like the first month. I rocked so hard with the predator that you really wouldn't believe it. Was pretty good with the other two too.

I'm going Alien, like I did in the other two. Then Predator. And Marine as last.

Where would one go about purchasing a copy of AvP 2?

Playing through avp1 again for the first time in years. I like the level design more than in avp2, it feels less linear. Also I'm suddenly much better as a marine than I ever used to be. About avp2 though, is there a way to un-prioritize the mouse x axis? I've gotten used to modern shooters and now I can't aim for shit when the y axis scrolls twice as slow as the x axis.

I really hope the community involved with the multiplayer game is going to be less bitchy, though. Man, I was playing earlier today on avp2 though and people won't stop fucking whining about the predator. Okay, first of all take in mind that life cycle was on, and it's hard as FUCK to melee facehuggers. I don't care how pro people want to sound when they say "psh, yeah right, I can do that". I can too, but I bet you that 9/10 times that you try you will fail and have your face thoroughly fucked. Now, also taking in mind that plasmacaster and disc were disabled on the server, I turned to my plasma pistol for the removal of facehuggers attempting to have sex with my face. People constantly will whine about "plasma spam" even when I only fire off one or two shots, and no matter what species they are either. Plus I usually try to net humans and spear them to death anyway cause taht's more rewarding. But noooo, if I get a single plasma kill it's "OMGZ OMGZ PLASMA SPAYUM". I understand being against plasma spamming, but simply using the weapon as intended is not spam. I really have started to despise the community that still plays the game on the resurrected master server. The other funny issue was when I saw a marine toting a sniper rifle (and as we all know, that's a one shot kill for the most part), so I stood still and waited for him to pass me. As he did, I netted him and sliced him up. His response ultimately was that I was "camping" and that if I ever stand still I should uncloak because it's "unfair". .... The predator is MADE for stealth and the programmers progammed it the way it is for a reason. So standing still avoids detection completely. It's their own fault that they walk right by me, they should be more careful and listen for the noises I make when I switch weapons.

Edit: Though I hated even more when they restricted weapons away from them. That was even worse with marines. So, do we have an exact date yet?

I pretty much terrified any marines that I played against, they hardly ever saw me on their motion trackers too, thanks to my patience when hunting them

Holy shit I can't wait. It would be awesome if that picture with the Alien on top of the guy was not scripted, but just an Alien who had pounced a guy and was in the process of killing him.

Why doesn't the alien have the glass looking bubble protector over his head in this game? I guess it's a way to show more detail. There better be variations with the Aliens Rebellion! And basically all three.

I would prefer it if it's whole head was shiny and smooth and didn't show what's inside on the outside. Kind of like it's supposed to like in the movies.

I also love the squealy noises they made in the second one. Of course, this game's obviously leaning towards the AVP-R designs for the Alien, with the ridge-head and the big tail spike on the end.

I realise it's not in Aliens but I much prefer how it is in every single movie other than aliens, and I'm willing to bet the only reason they did that is so they are better camouflaged when they're hiding on the walls.

Its a Free game they made it free after fox discontinued/Shut down the masterserver. So the people made their own masterserver because they reckoned the game deserved to last Also you dont need to use a cdkey to play anymore due to the masterserver shutdown. Just personal preference, though. I think it looks cooler, I don't really like the look of a shell on their head quite as much.

Meh I dont really care what they do to the aliens but if they fuck up the drone i will be pissed.
