[QUOTE=Chernobyl426;38504491]Has Love broken the NFL interception single season record yet?[/QUOTE]
He's three behind Night Train Lane at 11.
I think he might just get it.

That's pretty damn amazing. I have no doubt in my mind that he's a legend already.

He's fuckin fantastic. I finally found a shutdown corner capable of making any play at any time. It took me a LONG time though.
I thought Love was a safety?
[QUOTE=Chernobyl426;38517819]I thought Love was a safety?[/QUOTE]
No, he's a corner.
My safeties are still relatively...meh.
[editline]19th November 2012[/editline]
D-Mac plays safety now though.
[editline]19th November 2012[/editline]
Shit my bad, he [i]is[/i] a safety.
Hurr
[QUOTE=Mr. Face;38409822]I drafted Marcus Love as a safety and he's been playing great so far.[/QUOTE]
I'm doing a 5 season sim on Madden 13. Will post most interesting results.
[editline]19th November 2012[/editline]
Didn't finish. The PS3 started overheating. I need a new fan for that shit.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuck
I lost to the fucking BROWNS.
24-23. Goddamn it Mallett. Last minute pick six after a SHIT throw.
[editline]20th November 2012[/editline]
And yes, Marcus had an INT.
How the fuck?
[QUOTE=Mr. Face;38533527]

Put that man in the Hall of Fame.
[QUOTE=Fuzzwaddle;38552731]Put that man in the Hall of Fame.[/QUOTE]
He is probably already in.
I finally got it. Definitely amazing compared to Madden 2010.
I have one question, though. I'm playing a career as Cam Newton and my receivers keep dropping really open passes (I'm talking open after a curl), even though they can catch in coverage amazingly well. Does this have anything to do with their ratings (Steve Smith seems to do it less), is this just how career mode works for QBs, or am I just doing something wrong?
2-0 so far though. Got 21 points in a quick first quarter against the Saints then I really slowed down and only got 7 the rest of the game and it ended 28-24.

It's the ratings. The ratings are different in each way of catching. A guy could have a 90 catch in traffic (Amazing rating for catch in traffic) but only have a 75 rating for normal catching. It all depends on the guy and you should look into some of the more in depth ratings for your players to decide if you want to bench a guy or drop someone to get a better free agent.
So I've never lost a game of Backbreaker before. I was down 6 to 0 at the end of a game of Tampa Bay Tigers (Me) against some other team. 7 seconds on the clock I figured they'd run it and that would be the ball game. Their quarterback drops back to pass, he gets hit. Fumble on the play and a d-linemen ran it 63 yard, getting hit right as he got to the end zone, barely reaching the ball out over the goal line. Water to wine miracle.
Decided to do some random matches on Madden. Won my Dallas vs. Baltimore game 26-7. Saints vs. Broncos game? Comeback of the year. Down 10-3 at half. Down 17-3 going into the 4th quarter. I get a quick score with Jimmy Graham. 10-17. I get the ball back on a punt, throw a pick, get in back again, throw another pick, and I basically ruin my comeback by missing Graham on a 4th down with 1:38 left and 2 timeouts. McGahee rush for 3 yards, timeout. Peyton decides to throw it the next play. I get an interception off of that throw and with only 1 timeout left and 1:28 on the clock, work my way 70 yards down field. I complete a 32 yard pass to Colston that puts me at the two yard line with 0:15 left. Timeout. Pass to Graham for a TD with 0:12 left. I tie it up at 17-17 and force overtime. Broncos drive down to my 21. Dumbasses take a field goal when they can go for a TD. I make 74 yard drive with 1:45 left. I manage to get all the way up to the goal line as the time nears none. 0:18 seconds left no timeouts. Pass to Graham. No TD. Clock is still going. Fuck the spike man, I ain't doing that shit. I pound Thomas up the middle and dive in and seal the 23-20 OT win. Graham is my man.
My new Saints franchise is 1-0 after a 42-28 win over the Redskins. Hopefully I'll kill Carolina.
Finished the regular season at a solid 10-6 and made the playoffs.
Love has 19 interceptions to finish out the season. Let me say that again. 19 FUCKING INTERCEPTIONS.

A fucking legend already. 5 past Night Train, right? I can just imagine the rating boosts. 94 overall next season, I assume. You picked up a god, man.
I'm gonna play some Madden when I head back over to my dad's tommorrow. Looking forward to facing the Panthers. I'm gonna bump up the difficulty of my opponent. Not an upgrade on picks or fumbles.etc but upgrade on tackling and awareness. I think the biggest thing about the AI right now on standard All-Pro is it's inability to catch up with my high powered offense at all.
This shit. Marcus Love theme song.
[video=youtube;063ou1zmfJk]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=063ou1zmfJk[/video]
Currently 4-0 with my Saints. I beat the Panthers 34-9 thanks to two Sproles punt retunr TDs. I beat the Chiefs 27-3 with Cassel throwing 5 picks (Corey White got 3 picks. He is 4 on the season but just broke his toe in my latest game.) I just beat Green Bay 24-14. Rodgers threw 3 INTs and 2 TDs. Corey White broke his toe though, sadly enough. Brees is 12-5 with 1086 passing yards. Sproles is 176 RY with 1 TD. Hartley is 5-5 on kicks. Nick Toon, rookie WR from Wisconsin is doing great so far. I'm thinking about picking a FB up in the 3rd round of the draft. Jed whateverhisnameis got hurt in preseason and went out for the year, so I have Chris Ivory playing FB (He's doing good, actually.)
Steelers and Pats along with myself are only undefeated teams after I knocked off the Pack.
6-1. Brees threw 5 picks and 1 TD against the 1-5 Broncos. Two pick sixes. Lost 24-10 to them. 18 TD's and 15 INTs on the season, for fucks sake.
Beat the Texans in the Wildcard 21-20. Marcus Love went down in the third with a torn pectoral. Out for season. Consequently I lost to the Broncos in the Divisional round 41-31. Manning tore apart my secondary as Demarius Thomas didn't really have anybody that could match up with him like Marcus could.
[editline]6th December 2012[/editline]
I'm going to be drafting some new offensive linemen and couple of safeties.
Hell, at least you got to the divisional game. I'm 9-1 right now with New Orleans. Brees is 27-18 with 2,600 yards passing. Sproles broke his collarbone but has averaged 9.8 YPC. Colston and Toon have 21 catches each, Moore has 34, Henderson has 22, and Jimmy has 48. I get the ball around quite a bit, so none of my receivers overly excel. I've scouted out two really good WRs I hope to get in the draft. One is out of Georgia Tech and probably is rated around a 88, the other is probably 85 or 86. 1st and 2nd round picks easily. Hopefully I can get them both. I don't need WR depth, but Henderson is probably getting shipped out, and Colston might be looking at his last year in New Orleans. Brees has got a new 5 year contract, so I'll be set at QB for a while. Will Smith has 17 sacks on the season and will likely break the single season record.
Giants made it all the way to the Super Bowl and were promptly destroyed by....The Buffalo Bills. :suicide:
And we were doing so well.
How dare the Bills win the superbowl. Break your game, now. It's cursed.
I drafted a new safety named Eric Dyer. So far he's been pretty good in the preseason. He's got four INTs and a forced fumble. He also has around 29 tackles.
I also drafted a batch of new linemen. I'm not getting sacked very often now.
I traded Shane Vereen for Demeco Ryans (Eagles are apparently blowing up their squad) and I picked up Randall Cobb in the free agency.
Ryan Mallett has improved a good bit too, he's now an 85 overall. I'm looking forward to this season.
Do you mind writing out all of your starters as of now, with all WR's included in the list?
QB: Drew Brees
RB: Darren Sproles
FB: Pierre Thomas (Ivory moved out last year and Collins is too slow)
WR: Marques Colston, Calvin White (Rook 82 overall), Lance Moore, Stagmento (Forgot his first name. He is a rook 67 overall.), Nick Toon (71 overall but playing much higher than that.)
TE: Jimmy Graham, and Nick Toon. I really like this set-up. Toon got a lot of action last year after Moore went down with a broken collarbone.
RT: Jermon Bushrod
RG: Jahri Evans
C: Ben Grubbs (Moved him from LG)
LG: Marcel Jones, I think.
LT: Ben Jones
LE: Cameron Jordan
DT1:Broderick Bunkley
DT2: John Henderson (Ellis and Gallette departed in FA)
RE: Will Smith (Broke sack record. 25 sacks in a season.)
LOLB: Jonathan Vilma
MLB: Curtis Lofton
ROLB: Erin Henderson
CB1: Jabari Greer
CB2: Patrick Robinson
CB3: Corey White (2nd year player from Samford. Had like 9 picks last year.)
SS: Roman Harper
FS: Malcolm Jenkins
I got 3 LBs that switch off a lot. I got a 71 overall rookie from the 4th round who is set to get playing time with Vilma. A 67 overall rookie who has good abilities but not overall ratings, set to take Hendersons place occasionally. I also got David Hawthorne who is an 87 overall and will be backing up both DEs. (Will Smith comes off the field a lot.)
[editline]20th December 2012[/editline]
I won the SB last year against the Colts after they pulled off a miracle run. Finished the season 15-1.
Madden 13 is great
except for LB's jumping 50 ft in the air for interceptions

RG: Michael Gray (2nd Year)
C: Calvin Smith (Rookie)

Vince Wilfork
Kyle Love
Jerod Mayo
Brandon Spikes
Jermaine Cunningham
Demeco Ryans
Geno Hayes
CB1: Marcus Love
CB2: Aqib Talib
CB3: Alfonzo Dennard
FS: Stephen Gregory/Tavon Wilson

KR: Jeff Demps/Devin McCourty
PR: Jeff Demps/Julian Edelman
KOS: Zoltan Mesko
Simmed through the second half of the 2013 season, along with simming through half of the 2014 season. Carolina got a 90 overall rookie RG for fucks sake. 2nd round pick too. I didn't do too good coming out of the draft but I did okay. Darnell Dockett was traded to the Redskins, BJ Raji was traded to the Jets, and Aqib Talib was sent to Detroit. Shonn Greene landed in Indy. Domata Peko was sent to Seattle. Brady retired and New England picked up Schaub. Romo went to Chicago. Ryan Grant and Ced Ben both were brought to GB. I'm pretty sure that Hester went to Dallas. Darren McFadden went to New England. Dan Koppen went to Detroit. Randall Cobb went to Minnesota. James Jones went to the Chiefs. Brandon LaFell to the 49ers. Julian Edelman to the Cards. Johnny Knox to the Redskins. Doug Baldwin ended up in Cincy. Carlos Dunlap went to Jacksonville. Collie went to the Redskins, I think. Mike Williams to Indy. Jeremy Maclin went to Cincinnati. Bess went to New England. Moss went to Indy. I don't know how I memorized this shit.
[editline]21st December 2012[/editline]
BJ Raji and Darnell Dockett both had season ending injuries in the preseason. Twas horrific.
[editline]21st December 2012[/editline]
Danny Woodhead went to Cincy and became a top of the line player. Captain Munnerlyn went to Indy.

It was fucking perfect
That's fucking perfect. I'm doing a Skins 2015 franchise. Drafted Marcus Reyes, King Collins, Joshua Gordon-Hunter, Lefi Potao'e, and Pez Glover. King was 1st overall, Pez was 8th I think.
Marcus has been a ballhawk. Pez is a good leader and is a good replacement from Kerrigan (He went to DET). Washington is running a 4-3/3-4 hybrid D with occasional 4-2-5. Potao'e was originally a CB but he had such good zone that I moved him to SS. Malcolm Jenkins is my FS (Hard hitting fucker too). King is tearing shit up, making up for the below average RGIII year. Gordon-Hunter has gotten a little playtime.
