I love that mod. He should do the same with glass block "display cases" with an item in the middle of it, along with sign shaped "wall mounts" that have an item in front of it.

I've got around 845 Iron in my Warehouse, which translates to roughly 13 stacks of 64 and a bit left over. I decided to compress them into Iron blocks to save on space, so now in theory instead of my Iron Storage Chest storing a mere 54 stacks of Iron amounting to 3456 Iron bars, I have increased efficiency ninefold, and by storing a maximum of 54 stacks of Iron blocks, I can hold 31104 bars of Iron in one Double chest. I doubt i'll ever fill that quota, as I currently only have 93 Iron blocks and 8 loose Iron bars, but it's still nice to have all that space to store more Iron than i'll ever need.
