This update was totally a mess up, now mods dont work, certain servers ain't up, just added few wolves that are pretty boring, pink and brown sheep.. Pretty poor.

Well my mob trap isn't finished yet but it's at a point where adding more levels probably wouldn't help it much. I should have mentioned before, it's not legitimate. I simply wanted to see how efficient a farm I could make. I'm quite pleased with the outcome.

use lava, it kills them quicker = quicker respawn rate = more items

that is one level, I let it sit for ~10 mins before moving to where I took that video.
There are no caves withing 144 blocks and a tiny amount of dark land that spawns 1/2 mobs at night (I ran out of torches, I don't need any more items so I am not making the treck back to fix it until i need more arrows/bones

It also has a tendency to destroy drops. I've made a few different types of traps with friends and although drowners are slow, they're more efficient than lava and cacti.
Using the /butcher command on the server, there's still around 600 mobs in the spawner area at any one point.
I am apparently Milkandcooki's Server Manager. :v: I update his plugins and stuff for him, I asked him over Steam, "You have the new Essentials?" and he asked me to install it for him like I did last time. Yay a job to look forward to.

Put a roof on it, so the killer looks like mine in my video
the mobs only stick their heads in, and sink down before they drop their drops. It doesn't destroy them if you do it right
I just saw the yogscast on the planes mod, once it's updated to 1.4 I'll install it and see how long it takes to get all those materials to build them.
