Wait, where the hell do I get the 64-bit version of Java? I don't have Linux or Solaris, and apparently that's the only OS'es that has 64-bit Java downloads. (using the official site.)

Feeling kinda lost, have no idea what server should I join, those who I try require white listing which I'm not white-listed to.

okay so over christmas break i was stuck with only my laptop and i played the SHIT out of minecraft. it was pretty laggy but hardly unbearable, like 30 fps average and about 12 when i moved far away and it started to load chunks, something like 100 blocks away. easy. Now, before i installed optimizing mods it was around 20 fps while standing still, but if i moved around 5 or 6 blocks away my framerate dropped to about 1/2 (one frame every two seconds heh) and stayed that way for about 10 seconds. i installed Optimine and CAF, which makes the game run at a constant 12 fps. which is admitedly better than 1/2, but it pisses me off that the game was resonably playable and now it's not. i'm using an MSI wind, and i've got the BIOS overclock and GMA booster. why won't minecraft work :(

I login and see just blue sky and shit, nothing appears.

I just started playing Minecraft, and while exploring a dungeon, I suddenly saw a blue square jumping up and down towards me, it damaged me. I hit it with my sword and it fell apart in tiny blue squares that also followed me. But I can't kill those and they can't hit me. What is going on? What are these?

I'm getting 200ms on everything JWJ hosts, 200ms is fine but no in Minecraft, 2 minutes of delay in chat and shit...unplayable.
