Ugh, for some reason now, I get tons of "Connection reset by peer: Socket write error" errors. I can't play SMP at all. There is pretty much no help on this subject too. Anyone know the fix?

Can someone help me with a problem? So i'm trying to host a server over internet for my friends. But the problem is that the port is closed even though i have done everything possible to have it opened. I have opened it in my router(Netgear WNR 2000 btw), i have opened in my firewall, but still it doesn't even work.

Check there. If it says your port is not open, it's not open. Turn windows firewall off if you have it (Third-party firewalls are much better). Make sure you opened the correct ports in your router.

The Windows Firewall is turned off. I even turned off my third part firewall(F-Secure) But it still said the port was closed.

Me and a friend have been busy (not sexually) on MedicWine's server! We have found over 40 diamond. A small home that connects to our trading post and greenhouse. 3 stacks of wheat. 2 stacks of reeds. A lot of redstone (Our trading post's currency.) Four sets of iron armor, and about 30 more left, not including our iron tools. A set of gold armor, with about 15 left. 5 diamonds left. A working machine where you drop in one redstone, and a material comes out. And lots more. If only he would set monsters to on though ):
