I have a 4.3 KD ratio in blops 2 and never played MW3.

The maps are not that bad, a few steps up from MW3, that's for sure.

Its an FPS game, mechanics shouldnt change much from "point gun at enemy and fire"

Most sequels are effectively DLC to series. except theyre not, because you dont download it. Its a full featured addon. a sequel.

They got rid of the lunge, which is one of the best changes in the series since stopping power was removed. It still works the same otherwise and I've had no problems using it. Even have a knife only kit I've gone 3:1 with.

This is objectively false. SMG's typically require one more bullet on target to kill than the "average" assault rifle. SMG's are well suited to CoD's gameplay not because the maps are "cluttered CQC crap" but because it's a fast FPS. It's been this way in all of the Call of Duty games. Invariably the best weapons will be SMG's. CoD4 had the AK74U, WaW had the MP40/Thompson, MW2 had the UMP, Blops the AK74U again and MW3 had the PM901. If you are min/maxing yeah, they are the best class of guns but they are hardly the only weapons you can use effectively.

Haven't had any glitches with scorestreaks whatsoever, and they are by far the most interesting ones the series has seen yet. Instead of 8 variations of "blow up this part of the map" we get legitimate support options.

All the things you listed are personal problems, opinions, and/or attributable to most FPS games on the market. Maybe you just don't like the genre?

where you leveled up separately and got camos and all that

Happens all the time in Borderlands 2. Goes down for me and the people I'm playing with, even if they are hundreds of miles away.
I see people complaining about the game and I was just curious.
Am I the only one that thinks that something they changed between CoD:Modern Warfare and all of the future CoDs that made it not as fun.
I loved Modern Warfare and played all the time and loved it. When Modern Warfare 2 came out the game was just changed too much and I am not 100% sure what exactly changed, but the feel of the game is different. Almost like they made it more like Quake, too fast, too circular and just chaotic.
I feel like in Modern Warfare at least there was some tactics going on and it was at a good pace.
I am probably crazy, but I just wondered if anyone else felt anything similar to how I feel about the game now.

So what does fp think of the blops 2? I'm thinking of buying it for 25-30 dollars if it goes on sale on black friday (5-10 dollars + 25 dollar gift card) but if not then I'll just get it for Christmas.
