I liked Black Ops and WaW more than CoD4. Blops 2 is looking pretty good as well but I haven't played it enough to decide.

So why did they fuck up the tomahawk. Seriously. Blops 1 had it PERFECT. I loved it, and i had more kills with it than any other weapon. Why change it?
The "Battle Axe" throws slower, but moves MUCH faster, has a weird arc depending on your angle, and it doesnt bank off walls for shit. It just kind of flops no matter what the surface. They should have left it alone completely.

When you get a guy from another continent in your game it's even worse since he just dominates everyone due to lag.

So far I've only played about 2 hours of the campaign, and I have to say, I'm already impressed!

I generally have faith in Treyarch to make a good Call of Duty game so I purchased Black Ops II.
So far I am unimpressed and quite disappointed really. This game feels cheaply made, just rehashed shit.
MW3 was a fucking joke, and this is as well. I have only played it for maybe 5 hours or so far it's a horrible experience.

I don't know, call of duty isn't for everyone I suppose. Neither are much games in the same genre.
But I absolutely hated mw3 so much where I didn't even finish the first level in the campaign. I do however, disagree (and find it a tad stupid) that blops2 is on that shit tier. In fact, I enjoy this more than I ever enjoyed mw2. (Not that that's saying much but the game wasn't horrible.)

And I never played black ops 1 so I don't know how that was like. I've said it once and I'll say it again: I will never touch an infinity ward game again as Treyarch is the only one who seems to care anymore.
I enjoy this game FAR more than MW3 but it's still degraded in quality over how the original Black Ops was.
I feel like the games should gradually become more polished and flow better as time goes on but instead they become dumbed down and gimmicky.
I guess that's what happens when the target demographic is 12-16

I guess ranting about this game isn't really the best idea in a thread based around people who praise and cherish the COD franchise. But the idea behind it all is people are just too accepting of what they are given in terms of a AAA title. These games could be so much more in terms of quality but people simply don't give two fucks anymore.
They just want Call of Duty.
I hope this game doesn't turn into a hacker paradise like MW3.
