Well, due to the Shotgun patch of yesterday, most shotguns have been improved. Such as the KSG. Although i havent really bothered using it as of yet. Since i've been pissing around with the USAS.
Edit - KSG Seems much more powerful than before, The thing is getting kills more reliabley now.
"Expect a 50% decrease to the fire rate of all Akimbo weapons in #MW3. We're doing a hotfix tonight to properly nerf them."
YES!
Wanna play CoD kind of, too lazy to get up and walk 2 feet to play it. Not bad I guess, saves me a night of getting extremely mad.
Just a question, maybe its just me and its not for everyone, but why doesnt everyone just use snipers?
I'm using the bolt because the .50cal felt a bit... AWP from CSS-like. I started out using autos, but I just get way better results with a bolt.. The few friends I have that play CoD are the same, they've been sniper only since the r700(?) in CoD 4

There's so many reasons not to use sniper rifles all the time. One big one being you won't like like a tryhard ~MLG PR00zZZ~, sniper rifles are for, or at least excel at, ranged engagements. Running around with one in close quarters is quite inefficient in comparison to something that keeps your mobility up (SMGs, secondariness), while still packing a good bit of killing power and accuracy.
Although thanks to the IW engine being a piece of shit, there are very few downsides for using them in close quarters as the spread is quite predictable (get as close as possible, definite kill as the cone can't get super huge), and many exploits to temporarily increase accuracy (that quickscoping shit kids think is the only way to use a rifle). Plus sticking an alternate sight on them can make them more sensible for medium range at a minimum.
Though it does seem that since MW2, there has been a greater emphasis on semi-automatic sniper rifles. Which I honestly can't complain about as bolt action rifles are always stupidly powerful in CoD games it seems. With no real downside other than a slightly longer reload and fire delay. Statistically, most of the rifles will perform nearly the same damage wise, with greater drop off on some, and various attributes like recoil and sway adjusted to compensate for bonuses.

There are people that think only sniping is impressive, when in reality, it's just stupid and actually, completely unimpressive. You'll notice that a lot of the time they go negative and don't put any effort into actually playing the objective, much less winning. It's a CoD thing. It will eventually ruin CoD being that Infinity Ward made sniping in MW3 solely based around 'quickscoping'.
I know whenever i snipe i'm usually going like 9-4. Deaths only occur because i'm trying to get into that nice sight line.
When I decided I was done buying CoD games I made this. Before mw3 came out I think. Hope you like it :)

i like that song
Raining men?
I feel like playing either Modern Warfare 2 or Black Ops when I get back to my computer next week, do any Australians in here know if many people still play either?
I don't have enough money to buy Modern Warfare 3 sadly, but I do feel like diving back into Call of Duty.
There are people that think only sniping is impressive, when in reality, it's just stupid and actually, completely unimpressive.
I was semi impressed until I tried it myself in Mw2 lol. Basically right and left click as fast as you can, get a body shot and kill them.
don't put any effort into actually playing the objective, much less winning.
I see it in people holding ARs too. One of the reasons I prefer BF

Yeah, been using ACOG

MW2 is dead on PC, dunno about Black ops, on Xbox you can still get a game

Not many people play mw2 on pc much. I stopped playing it, but a good amount of people still play black ops on pc.
SHIT! It's made by IW! NOOOO!!!

That's pretty good dude. Nice, short and simple. Don't see why it'd take 5 hours though, haha.
Just bought my mate's 360 and he threw in Blackops and Cod 4 among other things. The only thing I'm good at is sticks & stones on blops, I can barely manage winning against the bots in combat training.
Are you new to FPS games or?

im hoping you're on a regular or hardened difficulty?
Are you new to FPS games or?
I'm not new to them, no, I'm just terrible at using the 360 controller for aiming. I've played it a lot but not consistently or often enough to get decent at it.

The first one I did was on Hardened, got my arse handed to me. Regular I can maintain a decent k/d

You'll get used to the Xbox controller, believe me. The PS3 one is smoother, but the Xbox one is really simple and bulky. Fits in your hand nicely. Just give it a while.
I'm fine when it comes to movement and shit like that, yeah, I think the controller's very ergonomic, but like I said I just can't aim well using my right thumb. I'll either over-shoot or fall short of what I'm aiming at when turning, no matter what sensitivity I use

ok thats not too bad, i mean they ARE aimbots...
I wish MW3's maps weren't all deathmatch arenas. The most fun I have in the game is when both sides are squaring off in a firefight down a long corridor, but this rarely happens. Most of the time I'll be moving through an area that looks like it's under my team's control, only to be shot in the back by some guy sprinting through one of the 80 different paths through the map.
I like most of the gameplay changes they made (nerfing grenades and removing commando in particular), but these maps are terrible. We need more maps like Afghan, Highrise, and Estate: maps with long sight lines where you can get an actual firefight going and not have it be ruined because there are too many ways through the map.
I liked the maps from CoD4 especially lot such as Bog and Vacant. They kinda seemed to naturally have like two sides all the time and just generally had good layout.

I'm reinstalling CoD2, gonna play some multiplayer and nostalgia.

ALL DAY
ERREH DAY.
Only thing is I keep on forgetting I can't shoot through walls.
I keep getting the "you are banned" or "admin has banned you for x minutes" when I join a server though, meh.

No one posted how to properly do it, so I had to do a lot of trial and error.
And a lot of crashing.

Call of Duty 3 did what you wish relatively well. So many good memories of battles from the game.
Fuck, I'd really love it if they released Call of Duty 3 on PCs and gave it some graphics updates. I gotta say that it was one of the best CoD games ever.
