Played some (8 hours) of blops 2 with a friend two days ago, got to rank 30 in multiplayer. I think it's an improvement (aside from SMGs and AR's still being too generally good and scorestreaks still alternating between brokenly under and overpowered) and the coop multiplayer is certainly fun. My beloved LMGs are still crap in almost all circumstances, but they're still fun, especially with the 3-attachment piece. The 870 is annoyingly good, between being so fun to use and so frustrating to have used against you. They've finally balanced knifing by having it be next to useless. The unlocks system is pretty cool, and the weight limit is definitely an improvement imo. Still glad they don't have Stopping Power. The maps are pretty cool and overall, good fun. Probably gonna ask for it for the holidays and hope for the best. Also the Xbox netcode is still garbage, we were getting kicked out of half the games we played due to connection errors and stuff like that

All the maps are fairly small with tons of ways into each area, so they're ideal for close quarters weapons. I hardly ever see sniper rifles used, and AR's only seem to work if you get the drop on someone or they're reloading already. Has there been any word on a balance patch any time soon?

snipers dont really work in cod at all because of how fast paced the games are theres very few places/maps where sniping is useful because of all the choke points

On the note of sniper rifles, how do you go with just iron sights instead of a scope? I didn't see anything in the attachments for it.

Only one is Ballista pretty sure, and you gotta max level for it.

In WaW all snipers had to have it's scope unlocked, except for the PTRS which isn't really a sniper anyway.

It's the best. Anyways, my friend still can't connect to online services in MP. Any ideas? He's on PC. I logged onto his account on my computer and I could connect online just fine. He used his dad's desktop and that worked too. He's on ethernet.
