Thing is, Balance in MW1 wasn't much of a issue, if i can remember correctly. When it came to the weapons, anyway.
If by that you mean that there were only 4 weapons worth using (Deagle, 74u, AK-47 and M40), yes it wasn't an issue.
If by that you mean that there were only 4 weapons worth using (Deagle, 74u, AK-47 and M40), yes it wasn't an issue.
Yeah but, those are the weapons picked for Promod, right?
Yeah except promod doesn't count when it comes to CoD 4 balance. Promod is promod balance. [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] With it's own set of rules and so forth.
Yeah but, those are the weapons picked for Promod, right?
Yes, but what I was saying is that, in the base game, weapon balance was terrible. Any other weapon than those was just worse in almost every situation. And in "pub" play, the AKS-74u was the very best, hands down. Using anything else was gimping yourself. That's not what I call good weapon balance...
Three guns I like the most: 1. Mk48, started using it on overflow domination and kills were just racking up, eventually unlocked the red dot sight and foregrip and to my surprise the accuracy and range is unbelievable, the only downside is the long as reload times and the slow ADS, even with quickdraw. 2. FAL, Fantastic 2-hit rifle made even better with target finder. Amazing accuracy and range too. The only downside is in CQC because of hip fire accuracy, works well with select fire but I feel it's unnecessary. 3. 870, of course. With laser sight and long barrel it's almost unstoppable. When playing hardcore with the suppressor attachment (which is fucking awesome) it still retains a respectable range and damage. Hands down best shotgun and one of the best guns. I don't like SMGs because of how dominative and near flawless they are. They suck the fun, fairness and sense of achievement right out of the game.
HAMR with quickdraw and lasersight, stock or some optic is great btw.
M1911 is good, far better iron sights than daggle
Because you will totally use the sights when firing your secondary. If you find yourself using the deagle, you will just mag dump the guy that's right in front of you anyway. Even if you aim down the sights, you're not going to take the time to line up a shot. All that matters for a secondary is time to kill.

My zombies is updating anyone else?

I just wish Ghost was unlocked at an earlier rank like In Black Ops one. I CANNOT stand it when my location is known. Especially when I'm trying to play stealth.
I just wish Ghost was unlocked at an earlier rank like In Black Ops one. I CANNOT stand it when my location is known. Especially when I'm trying to play stealth.
Budget Ghost: 2 black hats + AA missiles No UAV shall survive
Removing Stopping Power was the best change they have done for the CoD series. [editline]28th November 2012[/editline] Atleast since CoD4 when it was added.
So i think i figured out the spawn system. Rather than having it use distance from enemies as a reference. it seems to choose a spot where no one is looking at, at the time regardless of distance of an enemy. It seems to pick spots close by an enemy, but JUST around a corner, or barely out of view. This is what im getting at least. Almost every spawn i have in FFA has a person barely out of my line of sight a few feet away
With FFA and the size of the maps, you can't really expect to spawn far from enemies...
Yes but when almost all people are on one side of the map, with half the map open to safely spawn in, im kind of tired of spawning in knife range around the corner of the guy that just killed me 3 times in a row.
Anyone have a PS3? Add me!
Its not so much me complaining as saying HEY IF YOU SPAWN IN FFA CHECK DEM CORNERS AND BE READY. Edit: its both really.
It's nice that I understand now. I wonder if it worked by distance in the past, and if that's why Blops2's matches are so stupid fast paced now.

I really do not know if I want to prestige. I don't like the way first prestige looks, but I know I'll get bored of not ranking up. I like the way a solid 55 five star looks. I think I'll just work on camos so I don't get bored. What prestige are you guys, if any?

The maps are small, the layouts funnel people into cramped areas, smgs and shotguns dominate, and the spawns want you to be right next to people.
