I agree with some of what Mbbird said above. In previous CoDs I never used the SMGs even though most people I came across loved to run around with'em, I was still able to hold my ground and keep up in the top 3 for a match. However, in Black Ops 2, I had major problems trying to hold my ground with the assault rifles. Granted, I'm not that high a level and I only really used the first one but still, with the other games it didn't really matter which AR I chose. A few matches ago I decided to use the very first SMG and well.. BAM I was wrecking with it. Top of the scoreboard, streak after streak. This is the first CoD game that I'm contemplating not using the ARs, maybe the AN when I unlock it but until then, SMGs are gonna be my best buds.

It's pretty sad that I can kill people across Turbine with an SMG.

So I've come to the conclusion that the stock is the best attachment for assault rifles. It's surprising how easy it becomes to kill hip fire SMGs when you can actually aim and avoid damage at the same time. Combine it with toughness and it's almost easy to kill SMGs when it's head-to-head. They still shoot me in the back occasionally, but they're far less of a problem.

Black Ops 2 is constantly freezing up on me in multiplayer. My computer just locks up, and I am forced to turn my computer off just to fix it. Anyone else having any issues such as that?

Anyone else having any issues such as that?[/QUOTE] I had that issue as well for a while, but then I cracked open my GPUs and cleaned out a shit load of dust that was in them, and replaced the thermal paste on the heat sinks. Still, I turn up my fan speed to about 70% when playing, but now I don't freeze. (It was an overheating problem if you couldn't tell)

I also love the stock for SMGs - IIRC you walk faster while ADS than just walking :v: Oh and, EMP grenade is a pretty cool guy when playing Demolition or Headquarters. What's that? A Guardian and two sentry guns holding the point? Well too bad.

So i went to knife someone who was laying down just now. Instead of killing him, i destroyed the bouncing betty he was laying on top of. He then shot me. GG Treyarc Edit: Wtf is with ground war and Plaza? I just played Plaza 6 games in a row. And it keeps coming up for both previous AND next map choices.

how is the online side? i never had issues while playing any cod game online but ... i wanna make sure it works fine and has decent matchmaking not like far cry 3 where every single match for everyone is the biggest laggy piece of crap

I personally think the netcode (or whatever it's called) is pretty bad. There's those times on the kill cam where you thought you at least almost killed the enemy but according to the replay you barely wounded him Also hit detection on knives is retarded. Some times you'll get the kill when the enemy is on the very edge of the screen and sometimes you'll miss even when it should of been a clean kill.

I feel bad for people when I get knife kills, knowing that now they're more about luck than reacting in time. Sometimes it works when you're right next to people and sometimes it just doesn't seem to work at all.

the m1216 with extended mags and long barrel/laser sight is amazing it's just so satisfying to use, especially in hijacked clusterfucks gotta pair it with a long ranged weapon or a smoke though otherwise they'll just gun you down when you're out of range

People that run into them hear a click, so expecting a betty they dive into the claymore. Step 1: Sit in a doorway, take some fire and draw some attention Step 2: Have the guy brazenly charge you as you backtrack around the corner Step 3: ... Right into a shock charge in front of a claymore. I've gone like 28-3 just killing people with claymore traps. :v:

Hijacked is alright too but I prefer a shotgun. On everything else I use assault or sniper rifles.
