I got disconnected from xbox live mid match and when I signed back in it lost all my progress for that play session. Not the match, from when I started that time.

I had started prestige 1 for RPG and got the 100 kills and was going for the objective camos.
I made quite a lot of progress with the second SMG.
And I leveled up quite a lot.

Welp, I can safely say I won't be buying any more CoD games after BO2. Fucking garbage.

Lets make assault rifles a 3 hit kill at long range and lets make sure that people sprinting around with an SMG can put a bead on you straight away and burst you in 1 second. Its the definition of imbalanced as shit.

Its my own fault for buying an arcade shooter. A 12 year old with ADHD can beat anyone who even attempts to aim and not just spray at him.

Pro tip: if you say "no its not imbalanced at all" you're the guy running around with the SMG.

Also I have the game but my PS3's hdmi cable is broken, so I'm sitting here with a copy I can't even play.

Hello, I regularly have a 4+ k/d with the Type 25, SCAR-H, FAL and MTAR against teams of SMG users. (Also I have only 80 hours played in this game and it's my first Call of Duty game.) I'm here to tell you that you don't know how to play with a rifle and try to use it as an SMG, and thus fail at it.
Here's a tip, free of charge: if you go head to head with an SMG you're dead.
And another one: if you fire at an SMG user from behind cover or a flank he's dead and you're not.

By the way, does the theater mode not save certain games for everybody or am I just unlucky? The only game I really wanted to keep a replay of doesn't appear in the theater. The games before and after that one do though.

if by hard you mean a lot of bullshit kills due to bad hit registration and shit then yes

I can't really explain it but in CoD4 it was really easy to hit people, even with a SMG at long range. In BO2 you have to be really precise. However on the other side, Laser Sight is a broken attachment and makes SMGs gods on most maps providing you play smart.

They should just fucking remove Laser Sights and bring back Steady Aim. Everyone takes Laser Sight on SMGs as there isn't any trade off for taking it (Especially with Primary Gunfighter). In CoD4 no one took it because there were better perks to use (Dead Silence and Deep Impact)

What they need to do is remove the laser on SMGs and shotguns. No steady aim.
The SMGs are already pretty fucking accurate from the hip up close, no need for them to be accurate from the hip up to 25 meters.

most of the time if i shot first with my smg i normaly end up losing, the cqb is hard to get used(i use silencer and fmj, not unlocked select fire yet hopefully it makes it fully auto).
and also the ksg can trump smgs with its 1 shot range (if you have the long barrel on it but why wouldn't you)

You can't use both unfortunately. The long barrel increases the range, the silencer decreases it. So you can still kill in one hit, but the range at which the damage drops to 75 (from 200) is lower.

Also, I don't think that changing Laser Sights into a perk would solve any problem, because it would take up the exact same slot space as getting them normally without the tiny tiny marginal benefits of looking cool and being able to spot them looking at you.

I think my key problem with them is that SMG's just do way too much damage. If you increased the number of hits/kill by just 1 per SMG, then I think it would be fine and they'd seem a lot less BS-y
