Call of Duty V10 - Hop in, there's still room in the bandwagon!
There's a few reasons why I think ghost isn't actually all that great. For one, it's only active while you're moving, so that creates a need to be constantly moving, which can be harmful if you're having to reload or something that takes time that would be better done while in hiding. Instead of ghost, I always have a launcher in my loadout (not the RPG). The launcher lets you destroy the UAV, allowing you and everyone else on your team without ghost to go undetected, and also lets you destroy other streaks as well. I never use a secondary anyway, so launchers are a much better use of a slot and also lets you use a different perk in it's place. Just my opinion of why ghost isn't all that great.
I thought exactly the same at first. Then I used a prestige unlock point on it because why not.
As I said, it actually helps not to destroy the UAVs and run Ghost: some people (and the better the player is, the most likely it is) rely a lot on the minimap when they have a UAV up. And by a lot, I mean a lot. Meaning that they will almost always get caught off guard if you use Ghost (and teammates aren't near you, damn teammates).
I know I'm guilty of that (I always get caught by surprise at least once by Ghost users when I have a UAV - good thing there aren't that much and most are bad anyway). I know most of my friends are too. And from using the perk, I can safely say many people are.
Now I do agree that the ability to take down UAVs (and CUAVs!) is a huge plus for your team. In TDM and KC it's always the better choice IMO. But the edge you can get from Ghost is unvaluable in objective-based game modes.
As for realoding, well... You may have a point, but you can still run around a little in a hiding place while reloading. And even standing still for the few seconds a reload takes (if you master reload cancelling, which is really easy) doesn't even stop the effect of Ghost iirc.
I almost never hide to reload anyway: I reload when going from cover to cover, from vantage point to vantage point. Usually, it's pretty easy to know if there's an enemy around the corner if you were just in a gunfight.
Other, easier solution: use fast mags. On a class made for flanking, there's no reason not to.
Seriously, ARs with stock, silencer and fast mags are just so good if you take the enemy by surprise. SMGs are better on a face-off with another person, but if you take them by surprise, ARs will put down many people much more quickly.
This would fit pretty well as a killstreak :v:

I'd feel bad doing that.
Plus there's the RC-XD already
Can somebody link me to the following:
1. Examples of a CoD hate bandwagon
2. Examples of some of the CoD community being dumb
3. Examples of some of the CoD community being normal, reasonable people
Thanks in advance to anybody who can provide these

I'm making a video to discuss whether or not CoD deserves its status as a bad game and that
So I've decided to create an 'annoyance index' for blops 2 of things that annoy me. 1 is least annoying, 10 is most annoying.
1 - LMG users, Claymore users
2 - Crossbow/shield users
3 - Semi-auto AR users, SA12 users
4 - AR users
5 - Pistol users, 870 users
6 - SMG users, KSG users
7 - Shock charges & Betties
8 - Lodestars, RC-XD's, Hunterkillers, PDW's
9 - Scorpions, shockbetty combos, campers
10 - Motherfucking MSMC's and AN94's
Modifiers:
Silencer: Add one
While C-UAVed: Add one
Shit-talks to team while killing: Add two
Dick Emblem: Add two
Screecher: Add three
Has a low K/D while bragging: Add five
Reached the epitome today, some kid joined mid-match, by match end he was 2/14 in TDM, he used an AN94 silenced while camping with shocks and betties and talking about how swag he was during his final killcam
I wanted to strangle the motherfucker
Annoyance index (1 = worst);
1. SMGS
Attachment Annoyance index;
1. Laser Sight
Annoyance index (1= worst).
1. Bunny hoppers
2. Tubes
Annoynace index ( 1 = worst )
1. Treyarch's pre-2000 esque netcode
seriously the amount of bullshit kills that have stemmed from that are literally off the charts

if all of this annoys you im amazed you can actually enjoy the game
Standoff seems to be crammed with snipers in every moshpit game I've played today. Hardpoint wasn't even control of the hardpoint, people were too busy trying to flush the enemy snipers out of that one fucking building that overlooks like two of the hardpoint spots.
After thinking about it, I reckon Sniper Rifles are unbalanced too.
Why?

The Achilles heel of Sniper Rifles in older CoD games (CoD4 anyway) was that you had to get the first shot or switch to your secondary if you have to fight someone that wasn't sniping.
The problem with the Black Ops 2 perk/attachment system is that it's very easy to eliminate weaknesses and abuse strengths with wildcards and 2-3 attachments. The older CoDs didn't have that big of a problem with one gun class dominating everything because taking an attachment or perk meant you were sacrificing something else.
For example, taking Laser Sight + Long Barrel + Fast Mags/Extended Magazines essentially eliminates the need for a backup weapon while making the SMG into the thing we all hate. There's 5 more points to spend so you could also take 4 perks or some lethals/tacticals.
that's wot i think anyway

Hay, how's it going?
I discovered why BO2 ran so horribly [avg 20-50 FPS on low] I had to dust out my computer :suicide: because the case has shite airflow.
Now it averages about 170-130 fps or so on highish settings on a below average computer :v:

I like Standoff honestly
Probably one of the most varied maps they've got in this game, the other close ones are Turbine and Aftermath, but I really don't like Aftermath at all
Worst map in the game is definitely Drone tho IMO

Standoff's fun, but it's just the constant sniping that ticks me off.
Demolition on Hijacked is also the most retarded thing ever, towards the end of a round the defending team ends up in a fight to not get spawnkilled every twelve seconds.
I don't get why you can even play anything that isn't deathmatch based on Hijacked
It's awful for every objective gamemode. Every single one. Especially Demolition, which is currently the only gamemode I actually enjoy.
I like Standoff for Demolition and Hardpoint though. Seems to always go into Overtime for Demolition though.
Hardpoint on Standoff is probably my favourite use of the map.
I still haven't even played the majority of the maps in the game because most of my time is spent in Chaos Moshpit - I manage to pull a positive K/D and I can hold objectives there, which is more than I've been able to say for myself before.
I like Cargo as well, the three lanes are pretty good to 'orbit' in TDM
Standoff, Cargo, Overflow, and to a lesser extent Slums (in Domination only) are my favourite maps. They seem to be the only maps where the designer actually thought about how they would work.
Just a little tomahawk edit,I didn't edit for more than a year so the quality probably is bad,but i just love them tomahawks :D

Does anyone else freeze up on the loading screen when it says "Awaiting textures?" I really need a fix, or know when a fix will be released. I cant play any match without getting killed before I even spawn.
I was considering getting this but I only have £20 in my steam wallet so £13 odd short, darn it! By the time I get money to afford it, it'll be two days after the sale :( (Unless by chance it comes in on last day of sale)
I was disappointed with MW3 but I remember Black Ops offering something fresh.
Good Maps:
Standoff
Slums
Yemen
Shit Maps:
Drone
Carrier
Aftermath
The only map i really truly enjoy is Overflow, though i wish it were less cluttered on the streets.
I think the strike force missions are broken for me, i figured out how to play them, but none of them except for FOB Spectre display an opening cut scene or a 'yeah good job you did it' ending cut scene. I've played IED and Shipwreck three times each and every time it just loads in without a cut scene or a debrief cutscene with briggs, so they don't count as completed.
Any suggestions?
Anyone PC BO2 players want to get together and play sometime tonight? I'd love to have more people to play with.

Anyone else have this problem? The new black ops II guns are really inaccurate...

I've always performed well on it.
I should replace it with Overflow, though.
