Fuck what everyone says about the franchise, that trailer looks fucking great. Premise is fresh, setting is just between modern warfare and scifi, and it looks like it's going to be much more centered in vehicles (or at least, unmanned vehicles). Also, there's a guy in modern warfare gear riding a horse.

At the least though the weapon selection won't be too shabby at least i hope so... [editline]1st May 2012[/editline]
I will say the part with the horses was awesome. There's always going to be a way to exploit killstreaks, and well, just about everything in CoD. It's unavoidable.
I fucking love Treyarc even more now. That looks really good. [editline]1st May 2012[/editline] lets just hope mr pc version get's an optimized port at release
Trailer looked pretty cool. However I'm not prepared to spend the $90 they expect from us New Zealanders/Australians.
I wish they gave it some better graphics though... It wouldn't hurt anyone, and MW3 is so fugly even on highest. Its like it has this weird filter that makes everything ugly and dull. Still, I'm very intrigued how this is gonna play out. Now that I think about it, BO was actually a pretty good release, even though it had lots of performance issues, but aside from that, it was nice. If only Activision didn't shred it to pieces with DLC... That reminds me, I STILL haven't finished mw3's campaign.
Mw3 is the most non-creative dull CoD game I'd played. Unless someone wants to give me a free copy no BO2 for me
I have never posted in any Call of Duty thread but I just had to come in here and just say... The comments of the BO2 reveal trailer just make me sick they're comparing Call of Duty to Halo because there's mechs and quadrotors, also they can't spell for shit. That is all
I hope they connect what happened in Black Ops 1 to Black Ops 2. Right now, to me, all I see is just MW3 with robots and Woods. The Black Ops campaign was actually pretty good and I hope Blops 2 will continue that.
Looks like they are still using the same engine they have been for the past 7 years.
they probably won't improve the graphics until the next consoles are released, they try to keep it at 60 frames per second for consoles
I honestly found that as Treyarch made more and more games, they produced better games. World at War was a really well done COD4 Quasi-Reskin, while Black Ops was a step in a better independent direction. I can't wait to see where BO2 goes.

They shouldn't be playing CoD OR Halo in the first place, much less comparing the two.
i'm going to guess there's going to be two main story's in the campaign, the one with woods and fighting the robots, and the other with mason, weaver, and hudson being chased by the government
i'm going to guess there's going to be two main story's in the campaign, the one with woods and fighting the robots, and the other with mason, weaver, and hudson being chased by the government
Wouldn't they try to avoid this due to its similarity to the MW2 campaign?
Rezurrection was not worth it at all IMO. Moon was pretty difficult to be honest and I literally only played it once, on the day that I purchased it.
The 4 world at war maps are fucking awesome.
Here's the reveal trailer! To be honest, it's not what I was hoping for. Very futuristic, but I'll enjoy it!
I wish you'd actually be able to control those drones and horses and stuff rather than COD's traditional vehicle control scheme which is "press W to move forward" alone.
The 4 world at war maps are fucking awesome.
Of course they are, but are they really worth paying for again? I could have just gone back and played World at War if I wanted to. Moon wasn't even worth a purchase.
Rezurrection was not worth it at all IMO. Moon was pretty difficult to be honest and I literally only played it once, on the day that I purchased it.
Moon was pretty difficult at first, but after you got used to how all of the new gameplay elements worked (like the hacking device, excavators, low gravity, etc.) it became fairly easy and a blast to play. Here's some detailed BO2 info and new screens for you guys if you haven't seen them already. http://www.theverge.com/gaming/2012/5/2/2991601/call-of-duty-black-ops-2-detailed

After the trailer, I'm actually okay with this. The game seems promising and I love how they're actually putting in a bit of effort to add new stuff, unlike MW3

I read the ''for the first time ever, player choices will impact the story'' and I pray to god that it's not a bioware story impacting. Spend a whole fucking game taloring it to end as you want and just get diffrent colours of the same ending.
...How the fuck is Woods still alive? Didnt he blow up near the end of BO1? Im going to have to play through BO1 again, But i'm pretty sure he went "Ka-boom!".
...How the fuck is Woods still alive? Didnt he blow up near the end of BO1? And this certainly was the case.
Ahh well, I didnt really touch that computer apart from Dead Ops Arcade and that other thing. I forgot what it was called. Zorg or something? Woods is one lucky bastard then.
I can't help but feel with all these fancy killstreaks the game will be underwhelming and instead turn into a whoever can get a teammate to that high streak and then roll over the other team with it... i mean how the fuck are we supposed to stop that 4-legged walker?
