World at War or Call of Duty 2/3 will always be the best
idk, scenery seems a lot "cleaner" at times, more beautiful than the regular grimy urban warfare. As for you criticism of objectives? what? I just don't think you've played that many of the games, nor know enough about the subjects to have a fair criticism of it. In modern warfare games, yeah you can go other places, but the storylines that bring you there are almost always uber-contrived. In a WWII storyline it all makes sense. in WWII you can fight helicopters too. I was saying armored vehicles had more variety since the roles of light tank, armored car, APC, medium tank, infantry support tank, heavy tank, infantry tank, cruiser tank, etc. had not been merged into the current IFV/APC and MBT in modern warfare. Warfare was simply more varied. You could turn tractors into tanks and still have them be marginally effective, unlike in modern warfare. I'm not saying you can't have your own opinion, I'm just saying your criticism is not justified.
To me it doesn't. Everything seems older. And I didn't mention anything about objectives. I even hate objectives in FPS campaigns. They are mostly simple shit. Thats why I don't like WW2 games. Yea, it makes sense, but its just boring. I'd rather get shifted on to the other side of the world on a stealth mission. To me it is, because there are too many WW2 games around. Oh also, Activision just made domains all the way up to BO6 and MW6.
I'd rather get shifted on to the other side of the world on a stealth mission.
see, again this is where ignorance is hindering your argument. That (stealth things on the other side of the world) happened on a much more regular basis to even more exotic locales than in the MW series. Imagine going to Yalta, Iran to provide security for the conference there. Imagine going to China to fight alongside the nationalists against the imperial Japanese. Imagine going to South America to escort lend-lease things. Imagine shooting at balloons as an armed Inuit. the war was so vast and so global, no modern wars can really compare. if you want an example of the vast differences between WWII experiences, watch Saving Private Ryan and then watch the 49th parallel. Very very very different films same time period

Hitting up some MW3 today, hopefully I'll enjoy it and not get angry.
When will you get it that I hate the WW2 theme altogether... If you just hate the theme, ok, I can understand that. Just don't make up shit that's totally incorrect to justify it.
i want another WWII game tyvm
Agreed. I dunno, but i think it's fun to use those old rifles like Mosin Nagant in games.
I watched a livestream the other night, and the guy was using sleight of hand, quickdraw and (I think) steady aim, with the specialist perks as hardline, scavenger, and assassin. He used a couple of different guns, namely the MP7 with silencer and rapid fire, or the SCAR-L, with silencer and extended mags. He managed to get a couple of MOAB's, resulting in everyone calling him cheater, and they wouldn't accept that he was livestreaming. So I decided to try those classes and holy shit they were amazing. In a few dominations I had roughly 50+ kills to around 10-15 deaths, but sadly no MOAB's. Seriously though, try it. I think you guys would be suprised.
Agreed. I dunno, but i think it's fun to use those old rifles like Mosin Nagant in games.
well who knows, if IW makes another one every russian will be using an AVS-36, PPS-43, DP-28, every American will use a BAR, M2 carbine, or Thompson, and every German will use a MP40 or MP44 it'll feel JUST LIKE MW3. tacticool bayonets on antitank rifles. telescopic sights that are LONGER THAN THE GUN (and cost more than it) on SMGs, fucking Vampir night vision sights, and ze krummlauf IT'S JUST LIKE A MOTHER FUCKING EOTECH aww yeah.
god damn it i want a mix of modern and ww2 one guy is using ump45 other scar-l and third guy is using a mosin nagant all kinds of fun could be hd also bring in vietnam shit
aka you want all guns from 1900 to the present that would be fun. Go play AVA or GMOD. No but seriously I would pay for a game like that, though ArmA mods are slowly bringing that vision closer to reality.
Here's a suggestion for a mode from someone on Youtube- Create a whole new playlist with all the TDM, DOM etc in them. But this time, make sure the map has danger zones in them. So 1/3 of the map is covered in Danger zones, and every 30 seconds they change. Whoever is in the danger zones at the time they change will have 10 seconds to get out of the zones or else their health depletes and they're killed. Danger zones should be about the same size as Rust And should be set to trigger at key camping locations.
This is why I love Elpresador, although he's gone a bit creepy recently which makes everything so much more hilarious.

hey i have a neat idea for a gamemode, what if like instead of juggernaut, somebody is permanently in a helicopter and everybody has to race to shoot them down to become the chopper gunner
hey i have a neat idea for a gamemode, what if like instead of juggernaut, somebody is permanently in a helicopter and everybody has to race to shoot them down to become the chopper gunner
Mh, i see bugs, if everybody used a PKP Pecheneg, the helicopter would be down in seconds and maybe the mod would make a miscalculation on who would be the chopper gunner.

those are some pretty sweet tri-panel setups them mappers have
I must admit, that map set in Italy looks rather nice.
It's not community-centric if it's exclusive to a group of gamers who're paying more for that privelage.
Incoming 20 DLCs for MW3... Lolz
whilst italy looks nice, it's still really cqc...
They showed off Team Juggs alot in that video. Hopefully this means that it will become part of the community playlist for free.
whilst italy looks nice, it's still really cqc...
I like the way he explained it's for people who love that close quarters, run and gun gameplay. What? Like the rest of the MW3 maps weren't? At least they seem to be listening to people in some way by including a larger, more sniping friendly map. Only for a monthly payment!
wonder what they meant with a continuation with the campaign... maybe it's like the final standalone mission in CoD4 with the airplane mission...
wonder what they meant with a continuation with the campaign... maybe it's like the final standalone mission in CoD4 with the airplane mission...
I think they were talking about spec ops missions
