i finally got around to downloading all the maps and there's like 20 some in the past 3 months wtf...
jeez why do people get so mad at me using the grenade launcher/thumper in MW2
it's not that easy to get kills with it and why should that even be a reason when you can summon magic missile/all kinds of automated autotargeting aircraft in a 4-7 killstreak
MW3's maps suck, please copy a good map
Like Favela from MW2, some people may hate it but it's a really good map

(Just my opinion of course)
Seatown was one of the more tolerable maps imo, mainly because it had an actual sniper position that didn't cater to quickscopers.

and it was easy to run up behind those folks with that nice middle alley that led to the middle entrance to it

I really hope they do something to limit quickscoping.
I want activision officially supporting and encouraging 360 noscope l33tz0rs. Because that's where they aim, right?
System requirements are out:
OS: Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHz

Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512 MB or ATI Radeon HD 3870 512 MB
No XP support, that's new.
Windows XP doesn't support DX11.
Also they released a lot more info other than the minspec
What are the Minimum System Requirements?

Can I run the game on Windows XP?
No, sorry. Since we upgraded the engine to use DirectX11, Windows XP is no longer supported. It requires Windows Vista or later.
Will the game actually be playable on my minimum spec machine?
Absolutely. We have tested extensively on a variety of hardware and we are very confident in the performance even at the minimum specs.
What engine is used for Black Ops II?
The Black Ops II engine builds upon the Black Ops engine with a number of improvements including performance optimizations, enhanced graphics, and proprietary anti-cheat technology.
What performance optimizations have you introduced for Black Ops II?
Performance has been a top priority for Black Ops II PC from day one and we have achieved significant improvements. We’ve improved the way the engine handles multiple threads. Additionally, we moved the engine from DX9 to DX11. The DX11 API is leaner than DX9 and requires less CPU time to do the same amount of work. It is important to point out that this benefits the entire range of supported GPUs, not just DX11 hardware. We have also added more “quality vs performance” options than ever before so you can customize your experience to either run faster or to satisfy your taste in eye candy.
You mentioned enhanced graphics for the PC version. Can you tell us more about that?
Black Ops II PC features enhanced lighting, shadows, antialiasing, bloom, depth of field, ambient occlusion, and other enhanced effects that are still in the works. And the game can run at higher resolutions and higher framerates on the PC.
Will there be a framerate cap?
No. Unless you want one. We have included an adjustable FPS cap slider in the game options. The minimum setting is OFF (no cap).
I also recomend following @pcdev on twitter, he's your number one stop for your Treyarch PC appreciation. He's said more info is coming. It wasn't in the news post but lean keys are confirmed as well.
Fuck juggernaut and fuck everyone who uses it
Seriously, I hate getting killed by some dickweed with an MP40 and juggernaut even though i shot the shit out of them with my STG-44 only for them to be like "dur hur u shot me??" and then kills me
No deathstreaks or last stand in multiplayer anymore. RIP.
Last stand was only a problem on the consoles, since the thumbsticks and lack of auto aim (on downed targets) made killing the downed targets hard.
In my opinion it's the most original perk since it's actually animated and unique except for the others that are just a multiplier like 2x reload speed.

Why such an increase in minimum requirements since Modern Warfare 2? It's still running at 60 FPS on consoles for goodness' sake.
Because Treyarch makes the game look good on PC.
Black Ops 1 appears to be coming to the Mac on steam soon

How exactly is Black Ops 2, $20.00? It is $99.99 for me.
Wii U is getting a non-gimped version of CoD this time around, and with some bonus features!

Why do people cream themselves with something so simple?
Why do people cream themselves with something so simple?
Cause it's just something fun to play around with is all...
I used to find it a bit boring, but whatever floats people's boats I guess.
I've fucking had it with MW3.
Silenced, rapid-fire, hipfired MP7. Every fucking round in every fucking lobby. There's always at least one guy on the other team using it, but usually there's 2-3.
[editline]...[/editline]
Oh, and their secondary is always akimbo FMG9s. ALWAYS.
the new infinity ward and sledgehammer can't balance for shit. I usually play just CoD4 or Treyarch games.

I've uninstalled MW3. Ready for Blops2.
I've always preferred Treyarch games for some reason. WaW was my favorite and I'm excited for Blops2, just because it seems like it could be a fresher experience.
I've always preferred Treyarch games for some reason. WaW was my favorite and I'm excited for Blops2, just because it seems like it could be a fresher experience.
Because they are more willing to change things and try something new. WaW had zombies, Blops had the who currency thing and the wager matches and diving and was in a rarely used setting, and blops2 also has quite a bit of new things, especially where the single player is concerning. Modern Warfare 1,2,3 were almost the exact same game.
1 was pretty different but 2 and 3 are the same.
Are any of the Collections for MW3 worth getting? I only play MW3 occasionally now but want some new stuff to play.
mw3 itself isn't worth getting
