Call of Duty V10 - Hop in, there's still room in the bandwagon! - Games

Christ all mighty. Just did an ace clutch on hard core S&D with a knife only class. I had to dive in and out of cover with split seconds to think on three of the kills, the adrenaline rush that followed left my hands almost completely numb. BF3 moments may be awesome, but this one took the cake for excitement rush.

I'm actually pretty excited for this game, which is something I haven't said about a COD game in a while. I'm picking my pre-ordered PC version up this afternoon at my local Gamestop.

The guns have a load of recoil so you cannot just snipe someone across the map with an smg, the connections appear to be alot better, maps are well designed and really fun to play and the whole playstyle has changed.

Not sure if this was in the PC version, but are the Combat Training and the LAN mode still in from last time? Spent a lot of time mucking about on those on the PS3 version, and was somewhat hoping they would be in this time around, possibly even on the PC one.

Anyone who's been playing, is this worth the £40 price tag?

I am only getting the console version because all my mates are getting it on that, and I am familiar. Anyone who thinks the console version will be better is in denial. Unless there's some terrible optimization problems with BO2, which I am sure is not the case.

Although SSAO makes my game shit when it really shouldn't, but it's not a needed feature in the slightest.

It runs flawlessly on my desktop maxed out, on my laptop it run fine maxed but with 2x AA instead of 8x. The only issue I have it the game making my gpu fan go nuts.
