You could host your own Black Ops 1 server, but playing on them didn't give you XP or anything.

Black Ops had rented ranked dedicated servers. the new one has Treyarch hosted dedicated servers that are match marked on. That means no more hundreds 24/7 Nuke town and proper multiplayer.

Am I the only one that absolutely loved MW2? I thought it was amazing. It was a substantial upgrade from Cod4 which itself was fantastic. They just improved a lot of things. Sure there's some stuff people were pissed about, but it still holds a special place in my heart. Easily the game I have spent the most time on. Black ops was pretty great though. Then MW3 came out...... Let's not speak of it. So now I'm pumped for this one. Just have to wait for it to arrive in the mail!

It's a small price to pay when it comes to being able to play the game properly in my opinion and not 16v16 nuketown.

I don't really like single player and liked Black Ops but hated MW3 for multiplayer, is it worth me getting Blops2?

Yeah I [sp]let Menendez live[/sp] and got a pretty brutal ending. It's nice that they've added these choices to the game.

Well I have already played more on the Black Ops 2 campaign than that of Modern Warfare 3. And I have only watched the opening cutscene.

I don't get it how some people are complaining about the graphics on consoles, the shadow and texture quality is way higher then all the other CoDs,

But I agree, bo2 is the best cod so far.[/QUOTE] See me and my friend are on the fence about it too, we both loved MW/WaW and played a decent bit of blops. just we're both aware of "the cycle" where it comes out, everyone says its great. then people find out the bullshit guns, then people point out other flaws (map architecture/spawn code) then reminisce over older cods and how they were better. I feel like i should wait, but it does look fun. :v:

This is so refreshing. After the blandness of MW3.

Blops 2 is either my first or second favorite after Blops 1. Treyarch knows how to make video games.

If you're fast enough there's a moment where you kill Dafalgo but I believe Karma gets shot. Also, if you fail at capturing her, a new Strike Mission opens up where you can try and rescue her.[/sp]
