DmC: Devil May Cry - "Not in a million years." - Games

I fucking hate how they used it to move the context of the debate away from DmC's own merits and faults so they could continue hyping and advertising it (while getting easy views from the controversy). For all the overreactions to DmC, those articles from professional journalists (hhaaahaha) are the worst, disgusting bile I've ever seen. Got to level 766 or something I think before dying to Cerberus. I got sloppy. I expected a special battle at floor 666 instead of just a trophy. Was kinda disappointed. Still Bloody Palace is hella addictive and probably something I'll play now and again

I would literally take the red portal all the time and blaze through it. The only times I would use the green portal were because of boss chambers.

I really dislike Capcom now. First they kill off Megaman (Rockman in my days). Wh*re out Street Fighter. And now DMC... The business practices I swear are dodgy at best. Seems to be a common trend with Japanese publishers these days. e.g. SEGA. They're just pissing people off now for no reason.

I beat DMC4 today Really enjoyed it, great game.

Just got to the part in DMC4 where [sp]you play as Dante, fought flying forest snakebitch again. Dante is hard to deal damage with compared to Nero. The writing, voice acting, and the game in general are definitely under-cooked. I disliked the consistent sense of cold apathy, even when the characters are supposedly emotional, it simply needs to be more alive and organic. The music was completely unbearable to me, I completely turned it off for the entire game, my musical taste simply does not "digest" it. In my opinion, even considering all of the flaws mentioned, the game does manage to have a certain corny charm to it. And the story, while having tons of flaws, had a reasonable enough core for you to care about it to some degree.

I think that, aside from the writing (and the new character look), the new game is pretty cool.
