2 is the last of the series because Dante jumps into hell to stop the gate from opening and it's left on a cliff hanger if he comes back or not.

It's kinda weird to see how much Dante sucks in the first game compared to the rest. I mean seriously, when you start DMC1 you can barely take any hits before you die, his attacks are as simple as they get, he can't aim at two targets separately with his guns, he's slow as shit, etc.
Also he needs keys and stuff to open everything while in any other game he'd just rip the fucking door open.

You gotta think though, DMC1 was going to be Resident evil 4, so it sticks with a lot of the old resident evil esk gameplay.

HD Collection on PS3
Im gonna buy the HD collection next week, anyone know on which console if performs the best, usually the xbox has better frame rate, im also leaning towards xbox as i have Dmc 4 on it.

I have it on ps triple, The only framerate drop I noticed was When [sp]Cerberus is defeated again in mission 18 or in Bloody palace, it does a lot of Ice effects and it slows for all of half a second. [/sp]
Other than that the games run fine, One issue, There is a move for Kalina ann where the Blade shoots off and it's suppose to work as a grapple, But it doesn't connect in either system version.
The name is still fucking ridiculous.

Fuck god damnit, at the end of a mission, cutscene for the boss about to happen, BLACK SCREEN, CRASH, have to start the entire mission over again, DMC4 is pretty hard with turbo mode on too :(

It's partially because i'm a cheap-ass who usually doesn't buy full-priced games and such and thus don't want to bother getting DmC, and also because I remember it being fun on the 360; but I just bought DMC4 for Steam via the Green Man Gaming sales. Only wish the people trying to mod could crack the game wide open for huge mod potential, but as it stands, I've got my gamepad raring to go once the installation is done [sp]tomorrow[/sp]. :v:
