fucking Aragon man. Was 15 years into an Eu3 game and Naples decided to break the union
dont let them?
I'm at war with Castille and Portugal, kinda can't at the moment. [editline]6th December 2012[/editline] And it was because the king of Aragon and Naples died.
So playing Vic2 with the New Nations Mod, US declared war on Shogunate Japan in 1864 to 'Contain Them' No Civil War yet.

They just elected a different King, since the legitamcy of my heir was low. I'm gonna start a different game anyway, I don't feel like dealing with Castille and portugal. Now the US wants to acquire "Kansai". Liberia dropped out of the war. [editline]6th December 2012[/editline] US Civil War just started, August 5th 1866.
Started a new game as Portugal. Love how you just start off with explorers and shit.
There any nations I should play as in Europa? Even with 40+ hours in it I find I still don't know what to do really.
Oman; it's a fun country to play. You have good sliders (namely trade) to speed up westernization and become an major power in the Middle East.
Those are two different savegames though?
They are. But it's close enough right. For the sake of humor.
Anyone got that poster (from 4chan or something) describing each Paradox game and mods etc.?

In my Armenia game, Western Europe was going pretty normal for a while. Ireland formed, England and Scotland are holding together, the HRE and Scandinavia looks normal, but France and Spain have to ruin everything. The Pope called a Crusade for Aquitaine due to the Almoravids in France, now the Queen of Poland holds that southern land. Goddamit. [editline]7th December 2012[/editline] Also there is no King of France, I have no idea how that happened.
So in CK2, I just took over all of Ireland with an Irish family after a few generations, like a friend of mine managed to do before me. When he did it, he could form the kingdom of Ireland and become it's queen, but now that I did it I have no option to do it. It says I am the Duke of all the duchies in Ireland, but why can't I form it's kingdom and crown myself?
Playing EU3. Somehow Ferrera managed to become the leading partner in a dynastic union with both the Serbian Empire (practically all of the Balkans) AND Austria. What.
2 Great Wars [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/577849061037492777/C382E706567ED381B13D72F4A97676EE02D5CA67/[/t]
Isn't the AI kinda dumb here. They get attacked by a stronger force, so they start another war and it makes them lose both.

Also, the option doesn't even show up, it's not like it's greyed out or something.

Click on a county in Ireland and it should show it's De Jure duchy and kingdom somewhere, click on the crest for Ireland and it should take you to that page. It'll list a few buttons, the first of which is Create/Usurp for when you have enough to take it. The button should be there, if it's greyed out then mouse-over and see what requirements you don't meet.
Isn't the AI kinda dumb here. They get attacked by a stronger force, so they start another war and it makes them lose both.
They're actually doing really well in the first Great War, however. China is easy to curb if you know what you're doing.

I've dealt with it now.
They're actually doing really well in the first Great War, however. China is easy to curb if you know what you're doing.
So they are. There all -29% or 29% I got confused as to which way it was going. But the percentage is for the aggressor isn't it. So they've got a 29% lead in the 1st War and a 29% loss in the 2nd.
Isn't the AI kinda dumb here. They get attacked by a stronger force, so they start another war and it makes them lose both.
Judging from the shot it looks like they got the 2nd GW declared on them.
Apparently I couldn't create it because I was the pope's vassal. I've dealt with it now.
Pope's vassal? And you own all of Ireland? Huh.
Is the Rise of Rome mod for CKII any good?
