Propose me a fun modding challenge for EU3. I'm bored and I got nothing better to do anyway. I can't be the only one who wants to make a Mount and Blade mod for CK2.
have a unified germany at the start of the game by modding political borders, but leave the rest of the HRE untouched.
oh come on, that's not a challenge but a cheat
oh come on, that's not a challenge but a cheat
not if you play handsoff
I can't be the only one who wants to make a Mount and Blade mod for CK2.
If I could convert a Mount and Blade save to CK2 it would be FUCKING INCREDIBLE
I'm doing a Kaiserrech Darkest Hour game, New England's Head of State and Foreign Minister is "Joesph Kennedy Sr." The American Union State's Foreign Minister is "Joesph P. Kennedy". AS far as I'm aware, they're the same person. Also they both use the same Minister picture in game.
If I could convert a Mount and Blade save to CK2 it would be FUCKING INCREDIBLE
I'm actually thinking of doing that. I've been doing some ideas for religions and culture logos. I'll have to ass a bunch of stuff though, since the map in M&B Warband is actually quite small, so I need more nation designs.
How easy is Crusader Kings II? because I'm reading that Lp someone posted earlier with the Ua briain play through and the dude just successfully invaded France with nothing but ireland and a bit of scotland.

I figured it'd be one of the hardest because it looks a lot more complex than other games.
If I could convert a Mount and Blade save to CK2 it would be FUCKING INCREDIBLE
You'd have to alter the feast mechanics so that they happen monthly. Or at least, whenever your liege is about to strike a fatal blow to your enemies.
I figured it'd be one of the hardest because it looks a lot more complex than other games.
Stay far away from Hearts of Iron III.
that's what I'm doing lol. I haven't even tried Vicky 2 yet because it just looks more complicated than the previous games I've played. I'm hoping that it goes on sale during the Winter Sale though
Stay far away from Hearts of Iron III.
I started with Hearts of Iron 3 and I found it easy. Crusader Kings 2, however, stupefies me.
I started with Hearts of Iron 3 and I found it easy. Crusader Kings 2, however, stupefies me.
Yeah, it really depends on how much time you spent on each individual game. Paradox games are similar in premise, but very different in actual implementation.

You can just build as many 5 guard/5 artillery armies as you need, play with the money sliders for a couple minutes until you're in the green, and just invade the brown-skinned people until 1936 happens.

What is conciousness? what is plurality? what is militance? what the fuck is going on in the economy and factory screen? what dictates the industry score? what the fuck is a pop? etc
I got right into Hearts of Iron 3. EU3 still makes little sense.
I just got CK2 while it was on sale and I can safely say I found it to be the most deep and complicated of the games I've seen so far. Hearts of Iron III following close behind and then EUIII and VicII being easy sauce.

It's very rare that I end up having a massive nation when playing CK2. I end up having a lot of revolting vassals.
Repeatedly revolting vassals can be so repetitive to put down sometimes. On the bright side, getting the +25 relations boost is always something to look forward to.
I love it when I'm able to move up to a King/Emperor position in something like CK2, but in all honesty I enjoy being a vassal just as much too. Mainly because you can start plots and start all kinds of crazy havok inside your realm. The process of becoming King or Queen or Emperor/Empress is so much greater than sitting on the throne imo. That's pretty much my main reason for loving CK2 so much, is that while you're encouraged to take over land, you're encouraged to live the feudal life just as much.
The thing I like most about ck2 is that any character has a chance to become a big player. Which for some countries is impossible in hoi3 , and quite hard in vicky 2 and eu3. The thing is, it's not just the difficulty, it's the believability (is that a word?) of it. I mean, a lot of small dynasties in the middle ages managed to rise up to power (Hapsburg, d'Ivrea, Hohenzollern, and others), while a backwards country like Ethiopia rising to become a great power in the early 20th century, is not really believable.
Completely handsoff, no intervention whatsoever. Fucking amazing what the egyptians did, creating a new roman empire, a new Shia roman empire. They're already culture converting most of europe, and religion is majority shia. I didn't think the AI could do this. Also, fun fact. The Byzantines are catholic.

Mind you they conquered france, germany, half of russia, half of spain, and anywhere else besides greece and egypt in only 200 years. For the first 2 centuries on the game it was a ton of succession crises after conquering the byzantine.
so my character has an affair with my son's wife, resulting in a child. when my son inherits he then goes to have sex with his son's wife, resulting in a child. is my dynasty just full of complete assholes or what?
