Yet you haven't posted the modifiers from that battle. I expect there'll be a similarly obvious reason for your loss... if you bother to look.
Oh I'm sorry, unless there is a time-reversing button then too bad for you because the situation has already advanced and Croguy has been actually helpful with me now only engaging tank divisions from two directions at the same time and cutting them off. But feel free to stick around... trying to "prove" something... [sp]LOOK UNECCESSARY DOTTING AM I COOL YET?[/sp]
Have you even played this fucking series? Are you possibly blind? Or are you purposefully ignoring parts where I specifically said that two full strenght & organized divisions of mine can't handle one enemy infantry division? Superior forces my ass, just fuck off because even from your first lovely contributioning post into this discussion shows how much you are in for just being edgy asshat.
Would you stop acting like a 10 year old? You're losing because: You are fighting at night You are fighting in snow You are fighting in the forest You continue to push troops far away from their HQ and lines of supply I've played as Finland against the USSR before, and it's not something you just jump into. All of those modifiers matter, you have to take them into account before you obliterate your only line of defense.
Is it me or is this thread's revolt risk rising
Its literacy rate is dangerously low it seems.
This is what war does to people
Posters should watch out before their infamy gets too high, otherwise the mods might start a war of containment.
Is it me or is this thread's revolt risk rising
Stability for the people!
Stability for the people!
Praise to you, most magnificent liege!
I saw 36 new posts and thought the Republic expansion was released for CK2. Aww it's just a historical simulation of the winter war.
Stability for the people!
Sue for peace Offer tribute
Is CK2 worth it? I loved EU3, HoI2 and HoI3.
Is CK2 worth it? I loved EU3, HoI2 and HoI3.
CK2 is great.
I would never have guessed someone so choleric could figure out how to instal a Paradox game, much less play it long enough to get banned in this thread.
Is CK2 worth it? I loved EU3, HoI2 and HoI3.
Do you have no problem with committing multiple acts of infanticide, being the pope's butt buddy, slaughtering people(usually peasants) in the name of God/Allah, inheriting your uncle's title of emperor, falling into unavoidable intimate relationships with your children and/or close relatives, absurdly high taxes, and do you have the strength to withstand up to three layers of revolt risk, completely centered around who (dis)approves of you the most?

I never saw the need to be the popes buddy. Just keeping it above 0 is always good.
I never saw the need to be the popes buddy. Just keeping it above 0 is always good.
A few of them started throwing money at me when the Mongols started showing up due to my super high relations and the then-possessed title of crusader. I'm guessing it works the same with the Caliphs and the Patriarch.
Also, new dev diary for republic expansion http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/content.php?1229-Crusader-Kings-II-The-Republic-Developer-Diary-3-Government [editline]4th January 2013[/editline] And also. FOR SOME REASON NO ONE HAS BEEN POSTING THE DEV DIARIES TO MARCH OF THE EAGLE heres a vid [editline]4th January 2013[/editline] Oh man I'm loving this. It's supposedly more streamlined than CK2 even.
Downloaded the CK2 demo. Didn't play any tutorials so I'm not sure if things I'm doing are good or bad. Imprisoned a vassal that held loads of land, then banished him. Now I own large parts of Poland. However people seem to dislike me. Also my character dislikes his own daughter.

Like, good kings don't do that. I bet they're gonna rebel. Good start, though
Haha yeah 3 vassals/nations(?) declared war on me. I raised all my troops and beat most of them back. I assasinated one of them and then got assainated myself. Now I play as his daughter, Vegeta. The kid of the dude I assasinated made a peace proposal, which got him to land in my prisons. Now I'm thinking of banishing him, but this 4 year old ruler doesn't have enough piety.

Am playing the Caroligian mod as East Franconia, randomly the people just rose up and gave me the west franconia title :v:
Fuck the game crashed and I never saved. First I fucked up everything. My characters's own brother + loads of other dudes waged a war, in the end killing my king through assasination. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/nY8vu.jpg[/thumb] Then I managed to do better playing as the daughter. I assasinated two kids, thus becoming the heir and due to some lucky circumstances such as putting traitors into jail I managed to get back Poland. Before the game crashed most of the land belonged to people in my dynasty or good allies. [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/yCVla.jpg[/thumb] Really fun though, will definitely buy it.
I just realized taking castles gets you like 10 gold, so now I storm every castle I can, no matter whether or not I even need to, to the point that I'm denying surrenders so I can so on sacking territory. Then I use the gold I gain from the sack to pay off my increasingly pissed vassals because I'm spending thousands of their levies to take some piss-ant settlement in the middle of fucking Finlad.
How do you guys make money from colonies in EU3, I've bottle-necked the British Empire by taking far to much in Africa and my budget is crumbling, by this point it looks better you just create some vassals there and leave.
Don't colonize Africa it will only bring you down. Ditch them immediately and head straight for the Caribbean and South America if it isn't too late already. India has profitable provinces too, and so does the spice islands.
Piety too when fighting heathens No wonder why my dudes are saints
Fuck dude I took Muslim Portugal as England and got like two hundred piety and the Pope gave me three hundred gold coins. And when I took back Sicily for Christendom I got so much prestige and piety that my previously unruly vassals fell in love with me.
