God my life in these Paradox games is just a constant stream of miserable disasters.
The Pope declared the Fourth Crusade for Jerusalem to, once again, take back the city for the King of France and Jerusalem. I, as King of England with holdings in all of the Baltic, northern France, and western Iberia, gathered thirty thousand men and departed for Outremer. I fought independently and captured five provinces for every one that the Pope with the main host captured. Right after we won, the Duke of Cornwall raised half my Dukes against me and sacked London, along with the rest of my demense in England.
I had about eighteen thousand men left when he started the war, and about six thousand of those left to fight me in England. I stopped en route home to pick up the five thousand men of my retinue, before smashing the main rebel host of about nine thousand. When I started to win back territory, the Duke of Lancaster raised five thousand men from fucking nowhere and sacked most of Wales. When I moved to block him, Cornwall came from the south with four thousand green boys and once again took London.
Lancaster was outrunning me wherever I went and finally linked up with the now seven thousand of Cornwall and the Breton lords. I was hesitant to attack mainly because Lancaster was an absurdly gifted general, at something like thirty martial I think. I had thirteen thousand men with me in York, and five thousand gathered on the Baltic preparing to move. In Brittany, I had about seven hundred who were quite slowly taking the lands of the rebellious Bretons.
Then the Duke of Prussia rose.
The bastard took all the English lands on the Baltic, all my Baltic levies, and a very large chunk of my gold. His men joined with Lancaster who marched on York. After desperate fighting, I was forced north to rest in Scotland while Lancaster took every one of my remaining English holdings. I was able to pick off a few smaller parties and take a couple castles, but it was nothing compared to the debauchery of the Lancastrian march to Kent, the most powerful remaining English stronghold.
When all seemed lost, when I was prepared to abdicate to my eunuch uncle, my brother married the Queen of France. I pleaded for them to join me, and they did, with twenty thousand swords. Together we forced Lancaster to run and liberated southern England and Wales. When my war score was at ninety-seven percent, when I was certain that I was going to win, King Cunt of Cuntland (Malcom of Scotland) descended upon our army and scattered it.
For eighteen years the war has continued, neither side being able to gain a solid upper hand. The Royalists never again lost southern England, indeed, most of the war was fought in Wales and Brittany, but the Lancastrian's are yet to be beaten in battle. The Duke of Cornwall, captured outside Nottingham in the second year of the war, is destined to spend the rest of his life in a Royal dungeon.
The war continues. The Scottish are dealing with their own civil war, and I noticed that the Heir to Cornwall recently married the Princess of Denmark. I spent the time building alliances, mainly with the myriad of Irish counts who have come to hate Lancaster for some reason. I can scrape together barely six thousand men, with three thousand Frenchmen. My spies show a similar number camped in York, occasionally moving to take a border castle before I frighten them off. The balance is dangerous. One faulty battle, and it's time for King Eunuch to begin his reign. Lancaster is old, and I'm ill. Only one of us will survive this war, and nowhere near certain that it's going to be me.

Does anybody know how the CK2 to EU3 converter is faring?
I heard it doesn't convert buildings + pop yet.

Although I needed to go full Innovative in order to make up the technology gap, so I haven't had any missionaries to spare for converting places. Although when Castille was my vassal and guard dog, it converted all of its provinces to Sunni for me so that helped a lot when I annexed them again.
