Well back then Russians saw how occasionally the catapult system on the US carriers failed and threw the aircraft into the sea, thus ramp design was used instead.

The ramp system exists because it allows a smaller-sized carrier to launch modern fully-laden jets and VSTOL craft.

Ok. I started in later years so I could start off exactly as Russia, and at the time Crimea was at my borders, but I was fighting off hordes before and Ottoman Empire took control of Crimea, and a lot of Lithuania, Poland, and most of the Balkans. I've been in about five wars with the Ottomans, all of them except one I lost. Right now my allies are Lithuania and Sweden, (can't gain anymore from my view point) Every time a truce ends it seems I'm always at war with the Ottomans. Would anyone know how to play this out, or have any questions?

From what you see there, about 95% of those provinces are cores for ottomans
I once turned Oranje into a great power in vanilla vic2 but it's way harder to do in A house devided.
Now, if you are okay with cheats, colonizing as an african nation.
Once you have the ability, and cheat yourself into great/secondary power, and expand...
Does your name grow? Or do your new provinces get the "colonial" name (I.E Sokotan Africa)

If they're on the same continent/have a land border with your territory your font increases. I did see a "Sokot South America" once, however.

Long story short, the ramp design was chosen for political reasons, though according to aviation author Yefim Gordon, the ramp has the added benefit of working better in extremely cold weather since steam can form ice deposits which may cause the catapult to jam.

I've noticed, you and promote AI countries that normally don't colonize Africa to start colonizing Africa if you use the 'changeowner' command and give them a few provinces over there, they'll start expanding after a few years.

I wonder if it would be possible to unite all the nations in CK2 using only dynastic and diplomatic actions, without war. (Besides other religions and completely incompatible actions.)
They're dropping the CKII starting date to 867 with the Pagan DLC. Hopefully the Viking factions are interesting to play.
Sweet Jesus the new ck2 dlc will be amazing, playable pagans with an 867 start date! That along with the vicky2 expansion will have me throwing money at paradox.
My wife is queen of Norway but England is Saxon again because it's agnatic. That's still not too bad.
EDIT: Wait, she's not even queen, she just has a bunch of counties in Norway. I wonder what happened.
