Meh, it's 18 Euros for 2 games, one of which I'm interested in.
Why the hell not. I enjoy my map-painting simulators.
Anybody up for a MotE online game once it releases?
If so dibs on the Netherlands.
I am playing Prince and the Thane mod.
Started as a count in Ireland.
I decided that to make things harder, my entire realm will solely consist of personal demesne (excepting barony level titles).
1 hour left Komrades
I think it should be noted that the hamachi can't support more than 4 people, so yeah :v: we might just have to consider changing that.
oh tell me about it, I had a 40% warscore against england as castille and they wouldn't even accept a white peace
had to concede defeat because their navy would have crushed mine if I attempted an invasion
you can just sit and let the ai fuck themselves over for you. if they keep trying to invade you and you keep destroying the invasion force when it lands it will increase war score for you and war exhaustion for them.
then when their war exhaustion gets fairly high, pump out a few mercenary regiments and your war capacity will fly up and theirs will plummet. then they will be offering their left arm to you.
Sorry guys, I'm hosing the HoI 3 game.
Here is my IP. you also need Their finest Hour expansion.

Goddamnit. I was honestly looking forward to Vick2.
Whatever I'll go play MotE with /gsg/ when it comes out.
I'm not getting MotE, I'm going to wait to EvW, seems like a good combo of vicky 2 and HOI3 so maybe it'll be easier to get into than HOI3...
MotE on the other hand, looks very simple compared to the other games, maybe for people looking to get into paradox games.

MotE has a much more in-depth combat system compared to CK II or Vicky II from my understanding
MARCH OF THE EAGLES IS OUUUT

Protips for CK2 rebellions:
Assassinate the claim holder for pretender rebellions.
White peaceing for independence wars will not leave the rebellers independent, it just gives you no prestige, so do that if you are desperate.
Also has anyone noticed that you get a free army that isn't a levy and isn't a personal army and isn't a mercenary after winning the war for England as William the Bastard?
I can't even install March of the Eagles :(
paradox is probably still rolling out the files from their subversion service or something to valve

???
EU3 for me was way harder to learn and manage than vicky 2.
Besides MotE combat system, it looks pretty simple (for a paradox game.)

wait what? eu3 was harder than vick2 for you? eu3 is a game where you just pick a country and blob like a motherfucker. vick2 requires a ton more skill!

Not really. The amount of micromanagement needed in EU3 is higher than that of Vick2.
Plus its interface is inconvenient, less information is displayed at the front, so you need to go through up to 5x as many screen to get to the info.
This is all IMO, it really is up to the person, so what may be hard and inconvenient for you may be a cakewalk for me vice/versa.
also i cant join the vicky2 game, it says "game not found". oh well.

i always thought most things in eu3 didn't need to be micromanaged once you got bigger than like 5 provinces.
the only thing is buildings, but i have the auto-build mod that conveniently fixes that problem(for a hefty price).
Lol, I went to look at the March of the Eagles forum and found a topic about how Paradox whored themselves out to Steam and how they were evil and would steal your games without warning and not help you with downloads, etc. And then he asks for other possible retailer support.
Very next post,
Well, I suppose the complainers are the loudest.
I've never actually used Steam, but I've heard a lot of complaints and horror stories.
Still no MotE! :(
I never understood the paradox forums obsessive hate of steam. It's the forefront provider of digital game distribution, get with the times.
I mean, I would understand if it was paradox interacting with steam badly, but they don't even enforce steam DRM at all, it's just the way to download it, after that the files are on your computer and you can run them with/without steam.
the Paradox community is militantly against Steam and its just stupidly funny and annoying
it's not like steam is even a bad service anyways. they are pretty good about most things.
it's not like steam is even a bad service anyways. they are pretty good about most things.
i don't think the Steam-published copies of their games even have any DRM, you can just drag and drop the game files anywhere i think if you really wanted to do so
Valve is simply providing a service for Paradox, i don't get all the fuss and drama around it
plus the steam sales.
Oh baby, the steam sales.
MotE is available for download now.
