Is MoTE jittery for anyone else?
Is MoTE jittery for anyone else?
Sometimes it freezes every day or so,But it comes back and then freezes the next day,And the next day, Etc (Ingame Days)
I am always looking for grand strategy games and stumbled upon Imperalism II, it seems like a neat game and in the vein of paradox titles. Has anyone got some experience with that title?
Is it worth purchasing March of the Eagles? i played Europa Universalis 3 and Victoria 2, along with Crusader Kings 2. I like Crusaders Kings 2 and Victoria 2 as well but i'm not sure about this.
If you like painting maps then go for it.

wow march of the eagles looks bad it's pretty much a total war game
wow march of the eagles looks bad it's pretty much a total war game
MotE feels like a combat & multilayer net-code test for EUIV.

Are you a bad enough emperor to start a land war in Russia?
Yes. I did before with Germany(HOI3) and with other nations. Not talking about MOTE though since I don't have the money for that :(
Wow I just noticed that the most recent CK2 DLCs are on sale too. I'm almost sure they weren't a few days ago, that's why I only bought the Russian units and music. I guess it's time to buy The Republic.
March of the Eagles is probably the best online experience i have had with a paradox game.
So tomorrow I go off to visit Paradox. Hopefully I don't make an ass out of myself when I interview whoever I am supposed to interview. Assuming I won't get lost on my way there. :v:
anyone know when the Pagan DLC for ck2 is coming out?
anyone know when the Pagan DLC for ck2 is coming out?
Website says Q2, so April May or June
Website says Q2, so April May or June
Shit, around the same time as EvW. EEEEEEK I can't get enough PI.
I think the Imperial Liberation thing in EU3 must be bugged. I annexed Milan (4 provinces) through Italian Ambitions mission as Castille, which grants cores on all Italian territory you take in a single war. I thought I shouldn't bother removing the provinces from the HRE because I had cores on them and the Emperor won't demand them that way. Nope. They didn't even have the courtesy of giving a Formal Request, they just DOWed.
Well because Castille isn't an HRE member you have to remove the provinces from the HRE, the provinces are rightfully yours under the HRE ONLY
yup, the emperor is a dick, and so is the empire. i love building my own empire and slowly tearing the hre apart throughout the game.
I love doing that in any game, really. The Holy Romans in Crusader Kings II have a huge tendency to conquer everything unless they lose the initial independence war.
My oddest experience with the HRE was that they survived all the early independence civil wars except for losing Bohemia, blobbed a little bit into Hungary and then violently imploded such that only northern Germany was part of the HRE. Never actually seen them fall apart in the late game like that before
Well Bohemia is pretty much the major Kingdom holding the HRE together when they fight
Eh. Not really. I'd say the major manpower areas are Saxony early game, along with Bavaria and Weimar. [editline]19th February 2013[/editline] Saxony early game is basically all of northern Germany.

They lost Bohemia before 1100 however for 2 centuries afterwards they continued to have at least a 50% victory rate in their regular wars against France and completely dominated a Croatia that controlled the majority of the Balkans through Hungary and Serbia.
Oh. Forgot to mention the massive Rhineland Duchy. Seriously. It's all of Belgium, West Germany, Luxembourg, and basically the Netherlands except for Holland. That's the major power base of the empire.
Does anyone know the ports you need to open for March of the Eagles online?

My main issue with Paradox games is that every time there's a new one out, I have to spend half an hour trying to figure out how to use the new UI for the game.
